Thanks for the trip down memory lane. Indeed, my first 35mm SLR was the good ol'l K-1000 when I was on the Jr HS newspaper staff. By HS, I had graduated up to Canon's AE1 (later the Program), with the rare black body. By College, I was toolin around with the F1N (shot with all 3 variants throughout my career). Flirted with Nikon's flagship and the default camera for any self-respecting Photojournalist, the F3HP in the 80S, albeit it very briefly, I returned to my true love, the F1 and later T-90.
I recently left Canon for Fuji over the past year, indeed, bittersweet, but it was for the best (my back is happy anyways). Left the newspaper game a few years back and simply did not feel the need to carry around a "camera store" on my shoulders.

Hey John, I really like your videos. I had a Mamiya DSX - 1000. Now I have a Fujifilm XT1. Trying to resist springing for a XT-2 and your earlier video helped me. I'm thinking of an old Nikon that I'll have fairly soon. Getting excited about shooting some film again. Thanks!

Hi Bill! Thanks for the comment, and the kind words! I'm humbled and honored that people such as yourself watch and enjoy the videos. I really believe you're going to love the film experience as well as see how Fuji has worked very hard to put some of that in thier x-series cameras!
