Rare Vintage Chanel Horizontal Jumbo

Unboxing a real unicorn 1996 Chanel vintage Jumbo in caviar with horizontal quilting. It's very difficult to get a vintage caviar Jumbo (most are lambskin). It's also nearly impossible to get one in horizontal quilting. This is truly a vintage unicorn bag!
Vintage classic Chanel bags are known for their 24k gold plated hardware and sturdy craftsmanship. Increasingly harder and harder to find, especially in excellent condition. This Chanel with the oversized CC's and chunky double woven chain in 24k gold plated hardware.

She is beautiful! Congratulations! I got my lambskin vintage jumbo from Fashionphile a couple weeks ago too! May I ask how much yours was? I am curious how much they charge for a caviar one. Mine was around 5800 in great vintage condition but in lambskin.

Hi Vanessa, it was priced much lower than yours however I think it was a mistake. I chatting with another fellow TH-camr and they also think FF mispriced the bag. I checked out so fast! $5000+ is what I would expect for a lambskin version and more for caviar. Vintage caviar is quite rare. My bag does have a musty vintage smell inside, but I've been airing it out. It's not that bad however as you can't smell it unless you stick your nose into the bag. Maybe that's why it was priced so well? Musty smells can take a lot of patience to remove.
