- The steps to enable single tap to answer on Samsung Galaxy A13. As far as I know, this is the most recent technique to set up. Please let me know if there is a better technique or a solution I missed in the comments.
1. Open Settings.
2. Tap on Accessibility.
3. Tap on Interaction and dexterity.
4. Tap on Assistant menu.
5. Turn ON Replace swipe with single tap and Assistant menu.
Yes it worked but there is a moveable icon on my homescreen I can't get rid of .... so how?
Successful thank you somch
This is the ONLY video that solved my problem of answering and ending a call on my Galaxy A13 short and precise.
Me Too
I had this problem too. Tech Support----No help.
Thanks so much, I felt like an idiot not knowing how to answer my new phone
But any idea why swipe to answer has been introduced instead of tap to answer?
Thank You!
Please tell me there is another way - even third party- without using Assistant menu. It’s like 1 step forward and 3 steps backward. If not. How to prevent the menu from moving?
This settings use to samsung galaxy a34 5g in
Thank ÿou ❤❤❤
Thanks for the clear instructions. Question - is there any way to get rid of that annoying circle that popped up on the screen when you activated the assistant?
You can choose show as edge icon

@@khancock52 Settings -> Accessibility -> Interaction and dexterity -> Assistant Menu -> Show as edge icon OFF.
If you are really annoying this small edge circle after using this turn off the assistant me, use your phone without assistant.
Here is my problem: My tap-to-answer worked fine for awhile -- then no. I had to swipe-to-answer. I followed your instructions. I noticed my "replace swipe with single tap" is already on! Yet it will not work. Can you help?
Excellent help. I called Tech Support and was hanging on the phone for help. The minutes ticked by and they hung up on me. You helped me. New phone--new problems. Thank you.
Thank you for this video! Helped me with my Galaxy A14!
