There is nothing 70’s or 80’s about this other than that being the year these guys were born. Despite all the negativity of modern rock this falls right into that category. Just because tea isn’t your drink doesn’t mean you have to be a pessimist.

I’ve been listening to Des for years without even realizing it was him. Then recently I went to see badflower where he preformed as an opener and he instantly became one of my favorite artists, I bought a shirt, I’ve shown everyone I know his music, and I went through to see how many songs of his I already knew all the lyrics to! Des is underrated and I’m so excited for this new beginning
Same about catching them at Badflower and becoming our favorite new band. Saw them twice in the earlier tour and have tickets to three venues for the upcoming summer tour. Btw, Blood Red Shoes were pretty incredible too.

It's got a definite CULT vibe to it. I dig it.
My classic rock station used to play exclusively 60s-70s-80s-90s. But recently they started playing some new stuff, in the "genre" of classic rock. I heard this one on the drive home today, and my first guess was that it was The Cult. I'm not even really familiar with The Cult but I guess I've heard their couple of biggest hits, She Sells Sanctuary and Fire Woman, and the feel of Never Ending Moment was reminiscent of those. Fortunately I remembered a snippet of lyrics to search up ("so you cut me loose") and those lyrics were searchable online. Sometimes I can't find the lyrics online and I have no idea what I was listening to, or even if it was old or new. I never expected "classic rock" to make a comeback but now that it's happening I wonder why it took so long.

May as well go to the Hampton show too, it not that much farther and it’s totally worth it.
In the earlier tour we did day trips down to NYC and Boston to see them from Saco, no regrets. Doing the Portland, Hampton and Montréal shows this time around, but we didn’t make anything though

Weird I had the same experience. The EPs and singles were amazing and then the LP just fell kind of flat for me. Hope this and Nowhere Kid are signs of things to come.
