Clearly it's the gospel and not the kingdom in this verse. God's kingdom is unaffected by our personal actions while the gospel is the message during our time here, and, a live calling. Since we are ambassadors now, the kingdom is remote; while the gospel needs to be guarded for honor and clarity.
