Ive started doing pullups with attention to always having the pinky knuckle high like that, and it makes a huge impact on stability in the shoulder joint, activation of the lats and grip strength. Thanks for posting this, Carl!
Great video Carl. I'm getting out of a shoulder injury. All my pull ups and my CTBs are strict at the moment. it's good. It makes me gain strength. But as I can re-integrate Kipping to my routines. any advice?

Super interesting, Coach Carl! I am not a gymnast but found that thumbs over the bar allowed me even more internal rotation of the shoulders.
I remember these tips from your seminar. They're something I use daily when I'm working out.

Would these grip mechanics also apply to the fat bar? any adjustments ?
the only adjustment would be that the thumb doesn't wrap around.
