I’m playing a football match tomorrow and we’re using that 2-3-1 formation
I think the central mid should play a more defensive role (almost like a third cb).
Each coach will have their own way of doing things. This is just a brief explanation of what we would do, personally.
I think the cm, should go to be second striker sometimes and one of cb coming to cover central mid position.
