@buildmyflatpack_uk Oh I meant between the wardrobes themselves - the infills used between each carcass - when you put the doors on, is there not a gap between the doors as presumably the door widths are fixed, or do you have to make the doors slightly wider to account for the infills between carcasses?
@ the infills between the carcasses are just additional end panels that matched the colour of the carcasses. They line up perfectly with the outer edge of the carcasses either side and aren’t noticeable from the front as the joins are covered by the doors when closed
@@buildmyflatpack_ukReally? Seems a very expensive way of doing it? How much were they? Couldn’t all the frames be fixed together with larger infills on the ends? Sorry if I’ve misunderstood.
Thank you for your comment. I’ll hopefully be doing a video on cutting and securing infills soon to help explain it. You’ve got lots of options when it comes to infills. This particular customer wanted them to be out of MDF as they were having a decorator a few weeks after we completed the work. We’ve also recently finished one where we recommended the customer order an extra IKEA PAX carcass so we could use that for the infills. This gave it a bespoke look as the infills were an exact colour match to the wardrobes.
Lovely job but i didn't notice you checking the level of your base frame......... Built a couple of IKEA Pax 236cm wardrobes and the doors are not happy if your level is out.
As soon as the aggravating noise came on during the video, i have to ask a question, Do TH-cam insist that you have some sort of sounds in the background
Nice job. What size is the C16 timber please? Did you pick this type of timber for this job alone or would you use this every time?
What do you do about the gaps between the doors with the fillers inserted?
There aren’t any gaps between the doors and infills as the infills go between the carcass and the wall/ceiling

Great job, though could you please explain how the fillers are fitting? Could use wardrobe parts cut to size, or mdf, etc?? Thank you

Thank you for your comment. The subframe was made level it just wasn’t in the video
@@buildmyflatpack_uk I had the same question. You mention the out of level issue. How did you go about leveling? Shims?
@@buildmyflatpack_ukI have the same issue also, could you please explain how you went about making the subframe level please. Thanks!
