    African campers really have thoughtful design and layout.

      Yeah they’re a very underrated manufacturer as a country. Bit like the Pajero mate, not enough people realise just how how good they are 🙂😉👍

    This is an awesome video which showcases the simplicity and use of space which is practical and adequate. As our Stealth moto states "Comfort that follows you"

      That’s what I like the most about this one Norm, there’s enough room to be comfortable while touring yet not too over the top in size or weight where it feels you’re dragging around an apartment block behind you. Towing some of this huge vans would give me anxiety ! 😰😰

      Thanks mate 👍 yeah I think they've got a real place in the touring market, great how well equipped they are yet in a quite compact little footprint. Cheers mate and as always, thanks for watching bud.

    great video, great compact van, very capable in all offroad conditions this is going to be an Aussie game changer of note, getting more people into a caravan without the extra cost of GVM upgrades and massive tow vehicles.

    What a rort! Mate I know the 4wd industry went silly with pricing over covid, but you’ve gotta be kidding. There’s not 30k there.
    I’m happy to price the sucker out with you. You’ve listed the options in the website.
    Great little unit! Thoughtful design, wonderful for a single person or couple, but seriously. Sandwich panels aren’t expensive, nor is labour in South Africa.

      To be honest, I too did think, initially, they're not cheap however after researching any other products of comparable quality, fit and finish and with the inclusions these come with, they don't seem to badly priced. I wouldn't want to pay that kind of premium price if they were being made very cheaply in the one country that currently produces approx. 40% of the caravans in the Australian market, that's for sure but the South African product seems to be very well built. When you factor in the associated costs to develop it, build it, fit it out and include freight to the other side of the world, I think these are pretty reasonable myself.
      I know some may compare this up against a much larger van that has more included options, however I think longevity is very important to many people too. And that's where some pricing difference comes in.
      As you say, they're great for a touring couple, most definitely.
      Each to their own though and I welcome all feedback so thank you and thanks for tuning in.

    Great little camper, probably quite expensive though, one thing I think there should be an option for glass or plastic glasses/plates etc,

    • @normcruizycampers4629
      @normcruizycampers4629 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Quality does have a price, but long term it balances out. If you are after budget glasses yes you can have plastic.

    • @Triple-N
      @Triple-N 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@louiskudlak2256 most of African camper manufacturers I have seen will include full set crockery and cutlery. All of which have proper glasses and cups, not plastic.
      They are of good quality though. Not cheap.

    • @4WheelingInNSW
      @4WheelingInNSW  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It’s like anything though, you get what you pay for. Many campers of the same quality are the same sort of money too. There’s a lot of cheaper vans out there, 90% of which are imported from 🇨🇳, however their durability and longevity could be questioned. These things seem very robust and solid. Thanks for watching mate 👍

    • @4WheelingInNSW
      @4WheelingInNSW  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes this one comes with the crockery and cool cutlery set in a tool roll and pretty convenient how it attaches to the van door through sail track. That way they’re always at hand ready to rip into that perfectly cooked steak or garlic prawn surf and turf. 👍👍

    Concept is nice But cannot see the price justifying what you get. I mean, even if it was an "offroad" version (which it is not) the price is still high for what you get. No offence but that's how I see it.

    • @4WheelingInNSW
      @4WheelingInNSW  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      No offence taken mate, each to their. Everyone likes and wants something different I guess. Yes they made not be the cheapest out there however I couldn’t argue with the build quality. I like. It to like a Mercedes v a Hyundai i30. Both cars but different quality.
      And if you look at any other brand of similar build quality in that hybrid / crossover van market, they’re all very similarly priced. There are plenty of cheaper ( and larger ) vans out there however I think the quality may also be significantly cheaper too and their longevity could be questioned.
      Thanks for watching and for your feedback mate, I sincerely appreciate it, cheers 👍

    • @BT_life2

      @@4WheelingInNSWbut they’re not. Mercedes vs Hyundai-they have differences in major components.
      You do not.
      You’ve finished off speculating at other vans quality & longevity.
      Honestly, creating a sealed sleeping unit should not be a difficult task.

    I can’t see $60,000 plus in there. Yes it’s small and light but.

    • @4WheelingInNSW
      @4WheelingInNSW  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Price wise, it’s pretty well on par with most other brands of comparable quality and style in this class of vans. Yes they’re not cheap cheap but I couldn’t argue with their build quality for the money. 👍

    nearly big enough for a rat

    • @4WheelingInNSW
      @4WheelingInNSW  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It’s actually a lot bigger on the flesh than what shows on camera. The big advantage with this style or type of van is that it’s not ridiculously oversized. It’s light weight and easy to tow and you’re not dragging a 3 tonne Taj Mahal behind you with every conceivable item out of your house. They’re a great setup for a couple touring the country. Enough room to be comfortable but not more than you need either. 👍

    • @4WheelingInNSW
      @4WheelingInNSW  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That’s the appeal of it though, you’re not lugging around the Buckingham Palace behind your vehicle. They’re large enough to be comfortable yet compact enough to not be a burden to take out, I thought they’re a great little sized van. 👍👍
