    Brewer’s blackbirds are some of my favorites! I’d like to go up to where tricolors live and find some.

    Your timing is great, hehe - I was just about to comb through your older videos to look at starling info again! We saw a half-dozen or so just the other day, first ones my son and I can definitely say "yes that WAS a starling!" Slowly learning our local birds has been great!

    NICE! Female Red-winged Blackbirds are some of the most endearing and beautiful creatures I've met, and putting up with the males, they should be sainted already! Cheers, Declan 🐦🦉🤗

    Great. Video. What are some tips for memorizing species by sight. Especially similar ones like herring gulls and ring billed gulls etc.

      Having an ID App like Merlin or a field guide with you is a big help so you can reference it throughout your trip!

    Thank you, I live in SE Ga. and there are 2 different size Crow's here, the Fish Crow and Common Crow with the Fish Crow noticeably smaller in size.
    My question is do they inter-breed?
    The Fish Crows seem to be 'flockier' than the Common, even during the winter season where they both remain throughout. Thank you

    • @BadgerlandBirding
      @BadgerlandBirding  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I haven’t heard of them interbreeding but I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s happened at some point

      Carrying a grudge of unidentified origin can be dangerous, and possibly implanted by someone else, someone with any number of issues and degrees of abilities and reason and rational competency. Example, someone built a chicken coop. Gets chickens. Eggs attract snakes. Snakes are introverted and prefer to avoid conflicts. Their dog corners a snake. They never curbed or discouraged the dogs obsessive and greedy and jealous tendencies and laser pointer focus on territory and dominance of it's perceived lesser beings. Dog chases the snake that hides under the cement foundation of the garage. Digging, harassing, obsessively for a long time, and if the snake didn't eventually bite the dog she would probably still be stalking the space between the cement. Dog dies. People now have a grudge against the chickens and the snake, snakes in general, the species in particular but snakes are on the list. The story has changed to an aggressive emboldened snake in hot persuit of the dog who was minding it's own business, even saying the snake kept through the air to bite the dog. The people are incapable of evaluating the situation objectively and seeing and learning from the mistake. Stuck on stupid. Shockwaves ripple through and primordial soup of evolution and the damage done by the campaign against the serpent can't be denied and penetrates pop culture, religion, media, and the foundation of most human texts and teachings and scriptures. And what if those people are so stupid because someone else, a jealous and irrational and mentally ill woman did some witchcraft because of a relationship triangulation and breakup concerning one of their children. And she wanted to destroy the support system for the woman she was jealous of. Because of a lying cheating man. So Im careful not to pick sides of fights I'm not directly a part of. Form opinions about people in wars I wasn't there for. There's emotional stigma attached to certain words that divide the readers. Something messy might be a hassle, but it's infinite abundance. You can comb your messy hair but the alternative is no hair.
