2011 & up SUPER DUTY Front Turn + Marker Bulb Replacement *with grill removal*

A quick how-to for replacing the front turn and marker bulbs that are in the headlight assembly. This is in a 2011 FORD f250 superduty. I opted not to use bulb lube, if you are so inclined please use it. I went with super bright LED bulbs off of Amazon. The forward-facing turn/blinker bulb is a 3157NA bulb and the side-facing marker bulb is a W5W as per the ford manual.
The Grill shell must be removed in order to take the headlight assembly out. Total time spent on this total job was about 45 minutes

Just my 2011 headlight bulbs. You do not have to take grill all the way out. Just take the top piece off like he shows you here. One with screws and pushpins i used a 8 inch flex extension with 10 mm socket on Bostick driver. You flex it 90 degrees and get headlight screws out with grill pulled out little. My grill would not unsnap at bottom. Reason i done this way. You can work headĺight housing out and in like this. With that flex extension you wont need wire hanger to put bottom screw in.

Take the two air filter box bolts out and lift it up and back a few inches, after that the bulbs are replaceable, no grill or light bolts required.

After a spate of Sylvania Siverstar bulb failures I was down to about 20 minutes, The first time was maybe 45 minutes.
As a note, you may have a bunch of trouble codes thrown if you are adding LED headlights on a 2011/12. I had six for odd things using the Superbright LEDs on my '11. Went back to Phillips Crystalvision conventionals and all strange codes are still gone 5 years later

No need to remove grill. Four hex bolts, that's it.

I didnt add any resistor, It was a100% plug & play bulb and they blink at OEM speed

Yeh, they work fine. The blink speed is just like OEM.

What a pain in the butt! Come on Ford. We keep buying your overpriced trucks. The least you can do is use some of that money to design this sort of thing to be more easily accessible. Ridiculous!
