Submarine U33, combat swimmer, sea battalion - Federal President at the Navy in Eckernförde

Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier relocated his official residence to Eckernförde from June 13th to 15th, 2023. The format that has been in use for a number of years is called "local time in Germany".
We accompany the Federal President on his visit to the Navy in Eckernförde with a barge. In the city harbor of Eckernförde, he climbs into a rubber dinghy belonging to the sea battalion sea battalion and takes it to the submarine U33. When the waves are rough, he finds out about the 1st submarine squadron and dives with U33 for a while. Meanwhile, 2 combat swimmers arrive and emerge with the submarine. The Federal President then returns to Eckernförde in a rubber dinghy. The viewer is taken into the considerable noise level (engines and wind), the swell and the wetness that is usual in the navy.
