Ashur k, this is not the NBA or the NFL for people to retire, this is singing Nobody retires from singing unless they lose their voice completely and can't speak, the man does not sound like he did back in the 90s but he's still standing on that stage entertaining people and doing what he loves, he's been singing for a 50 years and he's 71 years old of course he's not going to sound the same, but he is the same person that sings those songs that everybody loves , there are new singers that just came out now that should not be on that stage go tell them to retire, there is no singer that can do what he did and what he just did right now on that stage at age 71, there's a lot of legendary singers that don't sound the same but when they stand on that stage and sing those beautiful songs I still see the same singer, the only time you call quits is when you can't stand on your feet anymore and this man is still standing and nobody is going to get him off that stage until he's ready to get off, and if he ever does retire nobody can come around and do what he did for that long.

We should enjoy the beauty of his voice and songs for as long as we can. I remember him calling me to join him on stage, as a three year old this man became one of favourite people, not just singer. I’ve been listening to him ever since. Never going to be a time where I won’t take the imbrators side because as you mentioned, he’s been singing for our nation for 50 years he deserves respect.

Many great memories with him performing; Assyrian Tea Parties, in Chicago, Assyrian Social Club, Assyrian Convention, weddings etc etc. Beautiful memories, of days gone by.
