@@REJOICESCREEN I lived here in Houston and have a ranch 1hr away from Houston hunt during deer 🦌 season, trap hog, rabbit, racoon just recreational for me.
I keep watching your program throughout. As a result send my own share of the meat to me rght here in Texas. 😁 I am also a village boy and my father was a hunter during his life time. I enjoyed the program very well.
You see that small one you’re referring to as antelope is not antelop, it’s called Duiker , Etu in Yoruba. Antelopes are in the same category as deer. They can be as large as baby cow. 😊
It's okay to hunt for animals in their natural habitat for the meats and other useful animal products. But i think the government should come up with some regulations that will see female animals not killed because they might be pregnant and or nursing babies. The male animals too should not be targeted or killed while they are young or juveniles as they should be allowed to live to old age. Another advantage on my suggestion is that the animals will not go into extinction for our next generation to enjoy them. By regulating how these animals are hunted/killed will also help to increase their numbers which the hunters too shall benefit from during the hunting seasons.
Yeah, very intelligent input, I guess the hunters have a supernatural power of detecting a female (not to talk of pregnant ones) that is moving at 150km per hour. Hunting has been existing before your fore fore fathers and there are still games in the forest till today and it's not going extinct anytime soon.
@adeyinkabolaji Nigerians don’t think about the extinction of these animals, what they care about is eran igbe. And for the fool talking about the animals our fore fathers hunted, is it all those games during their time that still exist till now? If you watch Nat geo wild, most of those animals they have in those African countries used to be here , like Cape buffalo, different species of antelope, wild beast, elephants, among others, why are those animals no longer being seen? Because they have been hunted to extinction you big nitwit! This is a form of tourist attraction to us but we kill this animals at any given chance which is bad. For me I don’t think the population of these animals can ever be regained, so let the hunters hunt them to extinction if they want. Oju won a ja!
The anchor of this program should please advise the Hunters about PPE personal protective equipment, their safety and protection is very important I don’t know why they all dressed unprotected like that, wearing unprotected clothing and shoes will hinder them of performing expertly. If for instance they have to run for danger or after preys how would they be effective, they are doing a good job but not encouraging they shouldn’t loose their lives or get injured for something they can improve upon. Thanks !
No it won't... I remember several years ago, during my university days, I ask the chief hunter the same question.... And I got a very funny reply... He said are human being finish on earth despite serious killing and I said no.. then he said so far that is not happening animals cannot not finish in the forest.
Sad there aren't any evidence of conservation in the southern part of Nigeria? These creatures are killed for food when they should be admired and treasured.
