Warrior Bass with Matt Lewis

Matthew R. Lewis, author of "Fly Fishing For Redeye Bass: An Adventure Across Southern Waters" and president of the Native Fish Coalition - Alabama chapter, dodges a tropical depression to find fishable water for native Warrior Bass. The Warrior Bass (Microperus warriorensis) live in the cool, pristine and fragile headwaters of the Black Warrior River system.
