It’s been a HOT summer there so building that was very smart! And as always thanks for the hilarious video guys 😂 love watching you guys!
Thank you!
Great idea, shout out to the contractor for nice work and spanning the pool with some quick improve. Was really surprised at the material costs. Normally I'm not the jealous type would rather just acknowledge someone's wins and move on but, you've carved out a paradise for your self!! Making me want to move hahaha. Also nice camera panning in the coffee shop and transition work. Glad you two are staying healthy, cheers.
I live a life I don’t need to vacation from! And thank you
Looks good, hopefully it holds up in a storm.
Hope so!
Hard to concentrate on pool netting when the candy is so appealing!! That makes sense, will save with all the stuff going into the pool. I don't remember seeing the pool before.
Pool? What pool?
@@ItsMe_Philippines That's what I said when I saw it! And all the babes in the shallow end!
The shade turned out great! Very clean looking. You both are living your best life. Love it. Keep smiling.
Thank you! And yes we are
Hi from Germany, I like your content. All the best to you and your wife
Thank you
I wish you guys uploaded more because I always enjoy the videos
Thank you
I'm impressed Cory! People in Florida do something similar.
Thank you! That’s where I got the advice from
28 yr old Army veteran here, my wife is Filipina from Manila. Your videos are awesome man! My wife and I will be back in the Philippines next week for a few months. I can’t wait to go back last time it was really hard leaving. It’s truly paradise. Keep up the videos!
Thank you my friend and stay focused and build a plan to permanently be here!
Is Manila a nice place to stay a week at
Really enjoy your videos . they never disappoint.
Thank you,appreciate the positive comment
It is nice to see both of you on TH-cam! Nice video!

Good Job Guy , nice job !!!
Thank you
Cory and Rachel, great job.
It looks awesome...
Enjoy yourselves... 😉
Thank you, it’s nice under here!
@@ItsMe_Philippines hi
That last awesome, looks great too
Thank you
Very impressed with how your project turned out! Looks very professional with a clean natural look. You never disappoint! Very nice Corey. 👊🏼
Think this project was extremely important because I believe my wife wearing small bathing suits is healthy for our relationship. 😬
Great job Cory and Rachel. We will have shade cloth over our pool and terrace areas also when we build our home there. I spent many years as a facilities and maintenance manager for commercial green houses in the USA and Canada and learned a lot about climate control. Will make ours retractable too. lol.
Enjoy your new found coolness!
Thank you, it’s really nice and the tile not melting my feet is great lol
Nice work! Glad you guys are “very very happy” with it! 😂🤙🏾
Thank you 🤟🏻
Worth every penny!
100%
Great addition. I prefer to be in the shade when in the pool to avoid direct sun since I burn easily. I hadn't thought about the algae issue with the pool so fixing that also was a good plus.
Exactly
Wow that looks great
Well worth it
Hey Cory and Rachel......this Philly Grandma loves you both ! The project turned out great
Thank you!
Awesome idea
Thank you, well worth it!
Nice job on the pool netting.
We are both very happy with it
CONGRATULATIONS…! Go enjoy yourselves.
Thank you!
hair is coming in nicely!
Thank you!
Cheers buddy! Cant imagine the summer there! I´m already heating op here lol!
lol I’ve adapted pretty well!
LOL! Rachel never fails to show when she needs coffee or food.
NOPE! Estrogen takes over fast lol
Rule #1 of Filipina care. Keep her happy! 😊
Hi brother, good to see you back on the video content , from me to you have a great mother's day and watch out for the solar flare
Thanks and same to you Brother
Great job

Y'all are funny. Great job on the property. It looks really good.
Thank you and I even laugh at my own videos

Holy crap Batman ! Look at the Locks sprouting on this guy! Hairs looking good Cory, excellent investment. You get yours, the wife gets hers and everyone is happy. The gift that keeps giving. 🎉Great Video Cory.
Thank you my friend and the last month it has really started to show.
You ready? Of course! Lol
What about me honey? Lol
Place is Awesome 🙌🙌🙌
We had a nice time!
Netting looks great. Need some chairs by the pool! They say you can tell how many friends you have by how many chairs you have.
Our patio with our tables is packed with chairs! No one has wanted to sit in the sun so that's why we built the patio for our friends to come over.
Wow, such a reasonable price for the entire frame and shade netting. I love your videos, you guys are hilarious and make it fun. Until we can retire there… I’m living vicariously through you, bro!
Thank you and make sure to come visit before that day!
You 2 are the funniest couple I’ve seen in a very long time 🎉❤😂 . Love your videos and to see you winning brother!❤❤❤
Thank you so much 😁
Looks good. Yes the netting is wonderful to help keep the heat off your walking area and keep your pool cooler. We have it on our open area just to keep things cooler but like you said its been hot.........
Agreed and yes, it’s been a hot one!

Thank you!
looks good
We are very happy with it
Great idea and the price is even better you can actually enjoy the pool now instead of constantly working on keeping it clean
Very true.
Another great episode! Definitely you've got me thinking about some sort of screen over the pool to come!

Great project, guys. And it's really cheap. Keep going 👍
Thank you we’re both very happy with it for what we spent
@@ItsMe_Philippines, you did inspire me to follow my dreams, that perhaps will lead me to the Philippines. If it's so, I will be glad to meet you one day.

Excellent video! You complied all the steps down to a timely video, but detailed enough👍What a great and much needed addition to your pool area. I’m sure it’s not only great to prevent the algae build up, but much more comfortable 👍Nice you also post the cost for those who live there too. Cheap 👍😊If I were Nicole, I would be wearing my hair up! That heat & humidity would be worse with long hair 😉
Thank you but who is Nicole? lol
@@ItsMe_PhilippinesSorry it’s Raquel, I got her name wrong!!
Holly Moses... 102 F, this is one of the reasons why my pinoy husband does not want to retire in Pinas, we lived in Michigan and we have an in ground heated pool, we have it opened until November, he loves the cold, myself, hate it,and we also lived by the water, comes winter time, when that wind blows, yikes,it is freezing, anyways, thanks for sharing, you guys are awesome...
Thank you for watching
you haven't done any update videos on your hair transplant progress ... been waiting patiently ha , ha , ha. cheers mate
Trust me, I know when I get the question asked to five times a day lol. I’m thinking about just deleting the video because it’s not what this channel is about. It’s been about three months and so far I’m very happy with the progress so I’ll do an update after five or six I’m guessing.
Great affordable solution for your pool problem!👍 Brilliant actually. what’s up with rainy season over there in the Philippines, Supposed to be May June July correct? Anyway, no blighting in the pool, Lol
Thank you and I’m still waiting for the rain lol
Hair is coming along Cory
Thank you
All good,it’s all coming together and you get a few bites in,,, works out in the end😂😂😂😂😂
ALL THE BEST…
It’s good for her 😇
@@ItsMe_Philippines as it should be lol
😳🤔Enjoy doing what she said😉
😇
Great idea at a very affordable cost. Do you mind sharing as to the cost of your lovely pool. Looking to instal one here in Cebu .
Thank you. I could get together with construction guy and come up with a price for you. But I did it at the same time as the house. So it’s included in the total house cost. I didn’t do the pool separately afterwards.
I’m so jealous…. 😊
Of the pool? Or the wife? 😂
You caught a dragon
Your wife is so funny and has a filthy mind 🤣🤣🤣👍👍
You don’t know the half of it 😂
That comes with a philipina . They are so precious. My wife is the same
@@ItsMe_Philippines ha ha ha I can only imagine what you have to put up with 🤣🤣
My fiance is the same. Typical goofy fun Philipinas.
All good,it’s all coming together and you get a few bites in,,, works out in the end😂😂😂😂😂
ALL THE BEST…
Nice job…will the netting keep you from getting sun burned?
Diplo 70%. But I’m sure if I laid in it all day it would still be too much.
Pool shade looks bitchin! Question? Did you consider using Liteblocks or something like them during your build? I know you pressed your own blocks which is awesome. My guess is my contractor has never used them and will probably freak out, imagine that? It looks like I and my fiancee will be headed back to Seattle late July so my project on Bantayan Island will be on hold for a year or so. Hair looks great! My turn when I get back. Best, Jeff
No they would be confused by them! And thanks on the hair. When you go in just tell them you know me and I’m sure they’ll take care of you.
Nice mate looking good! Pools cost much to run?
I did a video on how my pool runs because it’s hooked up to a DC powered Pool Pump with its own individual solar panels. So the pool is not actually costing me anything other than a little bit of chlorine here and there.
Interesting project. How easy do you think it will be to clean off the top of the netting? Do you think you will need to clean it off? Do you get a lot of leaves and debris there?
Yes, we bought a leaf blower for that
Have you also been using minoxidil, and if so, how long?
Tri chlor has a stabilizer and the chlorine won't burn off in the sun. Or you can just add stabilizer ( cyanuric acid). Too much cyanuric acid and you can get chlorine lock where your chlorine can't work anymore. Keep you cyanuric acid at 30-40ppm.
Thanks for the tips!
@@ItsMe_Philippines I am a pool guy by trade. What type of chlorine are you using? Liquid chlorine? trichor? Di chlor? Calcium hypochlorite? Great vids.
You guys are great. Just subscribed; Great videos. Seems you guys live a good lifestyle. Just a quick question. $5,500 per month would be the same lifestyle. Been trying to investigate living there with my wife and i. We both like to travel. Amd like AC ;). Any assistance will help. Thanks
Thank you for the sub. Have you watched my video on the cost-of-living in the Philippines? That will give you a very good breakdown. I typically never spend over 3K a month so you will be more than fine with what you have. If you want to discuss further regarding your long-term planning over here feel free to shoot me an email.

A pointer for you, I was a camera man for 2 years after I graduated high school in 1980. I learned a trick so you can turn off your Auto Focus. Zoom all the way in with the auto focus off, focus it. And then everything will be in focus when you zoom in and out. And you won't have to touch it again, until you turn the camera off then back on again, because when you power it off, it will go back by default to Auto Focus. Don, CA. Posted 5-11-2024.
Thanks, Don, I use that technique on my real camera. However, this is just a little pocket camera with limited options so I try to keep it simple.
No problem Pal, sounds like you know what your doing. Take Care and keep the Video's coming.
Don't get gravel put in Otherwise the heat will add up around your yard instead put in some grass much better option.
We are leveling it for an addition
I think put an aluninim roof on top, maybe or just half of it.....get full blockage!!!!anyway great video bro
I would recommend Onduline because it doesn’t make as much noise. Or, solar panels. Great place for them actually
And thanks bro
Raquel is the sleepiest person I have ever seen. If she's not sleeping, she's yawning. 😂
lol
@rlh125 That's cause she keeps him up all night. 🤣 It's also why he has to work out so much, so he can keep up with her demands (which is a good thing). Corey, you've gained a lot of size since you moved over there! Having that gym at the house is a hit.
I maintain the biggest pool in Cayman Islands. Shade is a great idea but if you keep your alkalinity, calcium hardness, sulfuric acid, phosphates in check then you wouldnt get algae.
I haven’t checked the phosphate actually, thanks for the tip
That really was cheap for all the materials would have been more in the states are you adding on to your house Rachel is beautiful
Thank you and adding onto the patio
Do you host a community chat somewhere? Or just comments under each video?
Comments on each video. I spent two hours a day so I make sure and respond to everyone. I’m sure this one to five occasionally but that’s very rare.
Buy white, it reflects the sun
That’s why I’m wearing a white shirt.
@@ItsMe_Philippines I'm starting to think you're a genius
What happened to the solar panels that were running the pump & lights?
Nothing? They’re still on top of the roof like they’ve always been. Other than the day that I tried everything out I had the wired up on the ground to make sure it all worked.
How are you going to remove all of the debris when it builds up on top of the net and makes the net sag?
We bought a leaf blower
I can’t wait to get to the Philippines my back and meet you guys. I’m opening the store affordable health products even organic coffee, affordable prices.
Enjoy my friend
My friend how are you
Loving life my friend!
@@ItsMe_Philippinessame thing with me here in the Philippines 😊
Hey Cory, Rachel is always "hot". Do you have any plans for being able to clear debris from on top of the shade netting? I was inpressed with your fabricators/ welding guys work, it came out nice.
Thank you! And yes we ordered a leaf blower
the tile around the pool is called the "Pool Deck"
Technically, yes, you are correct. I don’t believe I’ve ever heard anyone actually use that term. But more importantly, it’s not a term used in this country where I live.
Always great content and noce to have a perve on your pretty wife😊
I can’t upload half the things she says 😂😇
@@ItsMe_Philippines ha ha yeah I can imagine
@@ItsMe_Philippines she is a glamour. How's her sisters look? I may have to date one lol
here in canada thay would cost total about $7000
I believe that!

@@ItsMe_Philippines Unfortunately it wouldn't be the same as it coming straight outta the oven, but you know that already! 😁 Wish you guys would post more vids!
invite the workers and fam when its done
We have people over once a week 😊
10:12 Ok PH, make up your mind about metric units 🤣
I know right lol
That's the size pool we would like. What was all-in cost for pool?
Honestly do not know because we built it the same time as the house. So it was factored into the total house cost.
Question is, will Tracey crawl up on top of the netting and clean off all of the debris?
Rachel will use a leaf blower down below where it’s safe lol
How is the hair coming along?
Good, will update everyone at the six month mark
Are you adding on to your house? Approximately how many sqm are your house and property please?
Thanks in advance
Have you watched any of my house build videos? That’s going to be a lot more descriptive and give you better answers than I can and a simple comment.
Will do. Thanks
I’m watching your 2 year old videos and I don’t have the exact numbers that I was looking for but I get the idea of it being 800 sqm lot and maybe 250 sqm house. We have a a 464 sqm lot that we bought and casually have for sale in a gated community in antipolo area of Manila. If we hold onto it we may build 400 sqm house. There is one query …. I know you did not buy a steel roof. Did you buy fibreglass?
Awesome job , also laugh with your wife or she feels stupid lol
I laugh when things are funny. I don’t pretend or act fake. Besides, she must laugh for 15 hours a day lol
@@ItsMe_Philippines lol very good , rather be real than fake that's for sure
how many months currently with the hair transplant ?
3 I think
@@ItsMe_Philippineslooks good, brother!
What happens when it gets very windy?
The air moves faster lol
@@ItsMe_Philippines I have lived in areas where having such a structure was not possible due to high wind. Is that not an issue there?
How much was the labor cost? Pay hourly daily? 2 or 3 workers?
One working, paid weekly, and he’s here full time and his pay was part of the cost.
@@ItsMe_Philippines So amortized over the year, the cost is really negligible. Great addition Need protection from the heat, UV rays and heat. Critters happier too.
Im coming soon to Davo i have my passport im not working but im still getting paid burning up my sick leave bought my ticket yesterday i had 2 women i was talking to from Pinalove but 1 was kinda elusive and the other while great just wasnt what i could see myself with.....so i went to christin Filipina made a account paid a lot for 1 year and within 24 hours i have found what i have been looking for and will be winging my way to Manila i leave Dallas Texas the 18 of july my sick leave is finished on the 17 of July i arrive in Manila the 19th of July and we meet spend a week in Manila then go to Davao where i will be enslaved (willing ) lol......so im hopefully maybe gonna see yall out there......time will tell........all in Gods will. oh nice vid btw!!!!
Hahaha nice! Happy to hear you found the right one!
I would just put a metal roof the sun is soo HOT.
Block 70%, but still allows us to see the environment around us. I’m not interested in putting an ugly metal roof above my pool, have you ever stood underneath the metal roof?
@@ItsMe_Philippines If you paint it white it'll reflect the sun a lot. There should be a law that ALL roofs in PHL should be white.
@@thejwb1 White may reflect a lot but metal roofs are cheap and horrible for heat. regardless of the color. No one would want to live in a country that had laws on colors lol
@@ItsMe_Philippines Why would a full shade roof metal, or otherwise not be cooler than a screen that lets light through? It does not make sense at all. I understand if it was an enclosed area with no vents a metal roof would be hot but the air flows freely so any heat below the roof could easily go out.
hi there, totally off topic and not tying to be funny, genuine question..... hows the hair transplant going, thinking of going there on holiday and getting mine sorted
