Here's my english translation of Sumpah if anybody wants, to be shared among frens who want to know the meaning of the song. I think any translation of the original lyrics will never be able to do full justice to the malay lyrics which are beautiful just as they are in their simplicity and precision in capturing the meaning, the mood and the atmosphere. Aina's heart-rending and gut-wrenching rendition befits the lyrics so beautifully as well.

I assume she is a Lyric Soprano..... the "oooo" vowel is hard to sing in 5th n 6th octaves. As a high Baritone, I would use "aaaaa" vowel modification to indicate the "ooooo" vowel. I just find it easier that way. I'm still working on my high belt, head voice etc.

Finally someone said it! I don't know how can they say she is a mezzo, which in fact her passagio, tessitura, vocal range, vocal weight, vocal timbre are all resemble her as a soprano.

Tbh, Yusry is the one of the judges in Vocal Mania Competition Show where all the 4 idols included Aina Abdul competes with another 8 Rookies without any rehersals. They performed just like that. You can find this Competition Show in TH-cam Channel Tv9 Malaysia, currently in week 7. I don't know how long this Competition Show gonna be.
