Dude, you need to bring Esfand back again he fits so well, maybe every 10th episode as recurring guest😂 This episode isn't a super good example as I think Esfand is one of the best at this, but Emi is actually a great social glue. You get some people who are very good at it, that can almost always bring a group of people together and make people feel comfortable. Only saying as I'd seen some comments underestimating the vibe Emi brings, and even if she isn't saying a lot here, her being there isn't just eye candy, it's part of what makes this podcast pretty chill and feels more like friends hanging out together.
In my mind, Esband feels like I part of the group but like those characters that are always doing some side quest somewhere else and comes back to town every now and then.
Couple of points I just wanna say. 1. Y’all look like power rangers they way y’all dressed it’s funny but visually pleasing. 2. Thats how the world works. Are you gonna be in pain? Obviously yeah! You've had surgery, it is was it is. The ibu will take the edge off, but not much more. That's why we're not having the opioid epedemic the US going trough.
Yeah him being numb is the normal effect of a pain medication obviously. He just has limited drug experience and likely has panic with the novelty of the feeling. Although if he’s breathing rate went less than 12 respirations a minute than sure he can technically say he overdosed, he could be sensitive to drugs. Sounds like he never lost consciousness or stopped breathing though as that is what an overdose really is - from a medical professional

This whole time I've been hearing people talk about "Classic WoW" and "WoW Classic" I literally thought they were taking about the original WoW and I've been thinking "is there really that much of audience for that old of a game?" Had no idea there was a 2019 release they were talking about.
Speaking of specializing into a single game or series, damn its been a while since I've really been able to sink my teeth into something as deeply as I did with WoW and the Halo community. There have been a few games that retained me like CSGO or FromSoft games, but like they said, the skill gap makes CSGO way harder to play casually as time passes, and FromSoft games, while great in quality, are fairly short lived without diving into PvP or mod content. I truly miss having a game where I could just consistently have a wide range of friends who play that I can just dive into good times with. Halo Reach was really the last time I got to experience that personally. I miss it. I need more gamer friends. It felt so much easier to vibe with different groups back then. Whether thats a sign of the times with gaming or just aging pains, idk. Good episode, Esfand has a great vibe.

I've been a lab rat with a dozen chronic illnesses since age 12, on every painkiller many times, and hydrocodone is weak-sauce, they give that orally for most pain cases at the ER, and it's usually 80% tylenol...

I suppose intense, mega pain could also convince me; I mean I take freezing when I get cavities taken care of, so that's almost the same.
