With Mediterraneans having more Anatolian farmer DNA and Northern Europeans having more yamnaya DNA.
      It should be noted that European hunter gatherers actually consisted of 3 different populations, Western European hunter-gatherers, Eastern European hunter-gatherers and Scandinavian hunter-gatherers. It should also be noted that Mediterraneans, especially those in the south of Iberia, south of Italy and eastern Greece also have a substantial amount of admixture from North Africa and Western Asia (around 15-20% on average in some places)

    I stopped reading New Scientist years ago when I started looking at actual data on the climate rather than a scientist's opinion of what the data showed. Once you see the data shows that we are currently in the third of three relatively short periods of extreme cold during the past 600 million years, and the Earth's normal temperature is 10-12 C warmer than now (whether you take the mean temperature, the median temperature, or the modal temperature) and the period "since modern records began" started at close to the coldest point of this current extreme cold period, you realise that the whole global warming panic is like someone being concerned that someone suffering from hypothermia is getting warmer. For detail Google "Earth temperature 600 million years" and look at the graph with a pink, orange, and yellow background. Note on that graph that even 7000ppm of CO2 did not make the Earth any warmer than it already was.

    All kinds of factors play into this, including climate, adverse conditions, diet, availability of food resources, diseases, plagues, beliefs etc, and some cultural influences, some cultures being outward looking, some being inward looking, various traditions (including cousin marriages/bonds). The differences in mental ability across racial groups can no doubt be measured by scientists, to an extent. There does not seem to any reasonable objection to be raised as to initiating discussion on this - by those scientists mentioned or others. I doubt they are motivated by emotions, just considering the available evidence, such as it is.

    You might claim to not be a racist but spend most of your time talking about colour. Speaks volumes.

    Simon, let’s assume you’re right. What then? What would be the social ramifications of this? How should this knowledge be handled if it was found to be true?
    Even if it was proven that such a thing as a master race exists, that wouldn’t make said race entitled to treat others terribly. So what do you think should be done?
    There’s a good reason why ethics is a mandatory part of science programs in university.

      The problem is that the white race isn't gaining any friends harping on about how superior they are. This only breeds hatred, and this leads to an even tighter Gordian Knot.
      Maybe all this is meant by "the whiteman's burden".
      The more whites give in to the Marxists, the Left, and the ethnics, the worse things seem to get, and there's no way out. And personally, I can see how it can be said that these ethnics are hellbent on destroying white Civilization, so that they can take over later. It may be a ruin, but a lot of ethnics do thrive in chaos. Especially the gangs.

      The social ramifications would be that it's not racism keeping certain races from certain professions, but genetics, so DEI (racism by a different name) would be ended, and people employed on merit instead.

    Why on Earth bother pointing out the clear difference between ethnic groups and their intellectual abilities past or present, if Africa was discovered tomorrow as it was by it's first ever European visitor it would be primitive beyond description and no further forward than when the first people there worked out how to build a mud hut,if intellectual influences are taken on board and the capacity to use those influences are used all well and good,if it's not it's not, various intellectual influences made real differences from a number of places in the world ,the biggest driver of intellectual change without doubt came from Europeans, differences remain on all continents,we unfortunately are now importing the stagnant third world who despite the European influence have stuck rigidly barring acquiring mobile phones to third World Status,some people just don't have that ability to think it's really easy to see.

    You are well behind the curve here Simon. There are dozens of scholars who promote scientific racism; not just half a dozen. A little bit more research on your part?

    • @Foll-q7z
      @Foll-q7z 15 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      if that is the case... would it make much difference and id appreciate if you can name these dozens, or a few... ill do some research bud?!

    • @leonmartin5933
      @leonmartin5933 15 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @Foll-q7z Make much difference to what? Every researcher in this field acknowledges that there are well established IQ differences amongst population groups. This isn't controversial. The argument is whether those differences are environmental or genetic or a combination of both. I suggest you look at the work of Richard Nesbitt for the environmental position and the work of Charles Murray for the genetic position.
      If you cannot track down the fact that there are dozens of scholars who acknowledge IQ differences I suggest a return to school and a course in basic research skills. Because I'm nice ill point you in the right direction. Linda Gottfredson, Russell Warne, Richard Haier, David Rowe Jordan Peterson. Now see if you can add some more.

I never thought he meant or didn't understand there are no more researchers in this field and don't you go on chap !

      @Foll-q7z Wrong. He constantly goes on about how only a few people support scientific racism. This is nonsense and easily refuted. One has to question why he keeps on making these absurd statements given the overwhelming evidence that refutes his position. My response is not poor it's just that people like me are fed up with people like you and Simon who seem to be in a constant state of ignorance

    What in the hell would Webb know about research and not a single published research paper to his name over a non stellar career across a single continent in no major teaching and research institutes. @JosephB-tv7gf Because Joseph, Webb is commenting on research and a fundamental aspect of research is publishing your findings/arguments. Publishing papers in any meaningful way means that they are PEER REVIEWED. Otherwise ANYONE can publish ANY OLD SHITE and it is taken as FACTS. I hope this makes sense to you Joseph.

      Yes, scientific manuscripts are peer reviewed. But Simon made his case regarding the sly rebuttal of someone in an article of that New Scientist magazine wherein whoever it was framed his response in a desultory woke manner, which readers will read. This was Simon's whole point about the unprincipled manner and tactics the Left employ and know they can get away with.
