@VexOoo-x7y They aren’t identical but they’re very closely related. All of them have DNA from Anatolian farmer populations, indo-European (yamnaya) invaders and European hunter gatherers just in varying proportions. With Mediterraneans having more Anatolian farmer DNA and Northern Europeans having more yamnaya DNA. It should be noted that European hunter gatherers actually consisted of 3 different populations, Western European hunter-gatherers, Eastern European hunter-gatherers and Scandinavian hunter-gatherers. It should also be noted that Mediterraneans, especially those in the south of Iberia, south of Italy and eastern Greece also have a substantial amount of admixture from North Africa and Western Asia (around 15-20% on average in some places) However, all Europeans are still very closely related genetically through their Anatolian farmer, hunter-gatherer and Indo-European ancestry.

Even history and wars have been fought over these differences. Due to American influence on the world people pretended these differences were not there.
I stopped reading New Scientist years ago when I started looking at actual data on the climate rather than a scientist's opinion of what the data showed. Once you see the data shows that we are currently in the third of three relatively short periods of extreme cold during the past 600 million years, and the Earth's normal temperature is 10-12 C warmer than now (whether you take the mean temperature, the median temperature, or the modal temperature) and the period "since modern records began" started at close to the coldest point of this current extreme cold period, you realise that the whole global warming panic is like someone being concerned that someone suffering from hypothermia is getting warmer. For detail Google "Earth temperature 600 million years" and look at the graph with a pink, orange, and yellow background. Note on that graph that even 7000ppm of CO2 did not make the Earth any warmer than it already was.
The thing I find fishy is you can listen to a one hour conversation between two climate scientists (gov approved/funded) where they will mention "carbon dioxide" fifty times and "sun" not at all.
@@jimjones-bk2is I accept the data as being true, I do not accept an econutter's interpretation of that data as being true. Take the "The Earth has never been this hot before" claim given as a reason to panic. Look back in time, the mediaeval warm period was warmer than now, the Roman warm period was even warmer, and the Mycenaean warm period was even warmer than the Roman warm period. Further back in time the Earth's temp was 10-12C warmer than now, and life survived.

The idea that a more challenging environment creates the conditions for higher human development predates Victoria..Hegel elaborates this as the dielectic between man and nature in his Philosophy of History..Helps explain why archeology shows us agriculture, herding, the wheel etc developed first in relatively cold climes of steppe and nearby mountains..Definitely Caucasoid..Gobekli Tepi nearby from 9500 BC kind of put that beyond doubt..And that stable, lasting civilisations more often developed in defensible peninsular, island or mountainous regions, rather than what at first sight appears more likely, forested fertile lowlands..Kind of explains why Japan was always more than match for China..And why we in the UK got the big empire not little ones like Germany and Poland who have spent much of their recorded history fighting each other or the Russians with the Vatican more than happy to keep stirring it..

I think Simon was talking about the fact the Nazis (then and now) ridiculed Einstein's ideas about a quantum Universe only because he was Jewish (regardless non-practicing).
He was talking about relativity. The theories of general relativity and special relativity provide a more comprehensive description of gravity and motion than Newton’s theories. Newton’s theories are still valid though under the right circumstances which is most of the time in our everyday lives.

I recall a discussion several decades ago amongst people who had studied stone age cannibals still living in the highlands of New Gunea. According to them, these cannibals were highly intelligent. Apparently more so than the researchers. The explanation provided was that the living conditions are so harsh that they culled the stupid ones at an early age, and only the most intelligent survived. This would seem to be concistent with the theory being criticised in this article.
Yet these highly intelligent cannibals were apparently totally unable to determine any ways in which their living conditions could be improved? Or, did they simply prefer living at a mesolithic level of development? You 'recall a discussion' do you? I assume that you can provide a source where it may be read?

Interesting video again. The gene pools of humans on different continents are going to reflect differences in intellectual acuity, spread out between varying racial groupings. All kinds of factors play into this, including climate, adverse conditions, diet, availability of food resources, diseases, plagues, beliefs etc, and some cultural influences, some cultures being outward looking, some being inward looking, various traditions (including cousin marriages/bonds). The differences in mental ability across racial groups can no doubt be measured by scientists, to an extent. There does not seem to any reasonable objection to be raised as to initiating discussion on this - by those scientists mentioned or others. I doubt they are motivated by emotions, just considering the available evidence, such as it is.
Science is about being comfortable with not knowing. To stand on the edge of the known and ask more questions is to spend most of your time not knowing. Simon, let’s assume you’re right. What then? What would be the social ramifications of this? How should this knowledge be handled if it was found to be true? Even if it was proven that such a thing as a master race exists, that wouldn’t make said race entitled to treat others terribly. So what do you think should be done? There’s a good reason why ethics is a mandatory part of science programs in university.
The problem is that the white race isn't gaining any friends harping on about how superior they are. This only breeds hatred, and this leads to an even tighter Gordian Knot. Maybe all this is meant by "the whiteman's burden". The more whites give in to the Marxists, the Left, and the ethnics, the worse things seem to get, and there's no way out. And personally, I can see how it can be said that these ethnics are hellbent on destroying white Civilization, so that they can take over later. It may be a ruin, but a lot of ethnics do thrive in chaos. Especially the gangs.
The social ramifications would be that it's not racism keeping certain races from certain professions, but genetics, so DEI (racism by a different name) would be ended, and people employed on merit instead.
Why on Earth bother pointing out the clear difference between ethnic groups and their intellectual abilities past or present, if Africa was discovered tomorrow as it was by it's first ever European visitor it would be primitive beyond description and no further forward than when the first people there worked out how to build a mud hut,if intellectual influences are taken on board and the capacity to use those influences are used all well and good,if it's not it's not, various intellectual influences made real differences from a number of places in the world ,the biggest driver of intellectual change without doubt came from Europeans, differences remain on all continents,we unfortunately are now importing the stagnant third world who despite the European influence have stuck rigidly barring acquiring mobile phones to third World Status, some people just don't have that ability to think it's really easy to see.

I'm not the only older person where I work notices it. I haven't been to uni or got A levels but their knowledge and awareness of the world is nearly nil. Hardly anything about history or geography only about media and business studies which hardly any of them can explain to me. So God help this country in the future we will be like Zimbabwe or South Africa.

The situation today between races is there for all to see. In school, industry, on the streets at home and within the family.
Some science is more equal than others.
Ditto with Races.
Partly. I have no idea why we still group all Europeans together. Scandinavians, Mediterranean and slavics are not the same
@VexOoo-x7y They aren’t identical but they’re very closely related.
It should also be noted that Mediterraneans, especially those in the south of Iberia, south of Italy and eastern Greece also have a substantial amount of admixture from North Africa and Western Asia (around 15-20% on average in some places)
However, all Europeans are still very closely related genetically through their Anatolian farmer, hunter-gatherer and Indo-European ancestry.

Good evening, Uncle Simon
Funny how you accept one set of data as being true, but not the other which is exactly the same science.
The thing I find fishy is you can listen to a one hour conversation between two climate scientists (gov approved/funded) where they will mention "carbon dioxide" fifty times and "sun" not at all.
Take a count of "sun" and "CO2" in their debates. It says all you need to know.
@DavidGirling we weren't around though, with our agricultural civilisation, for most of that time. And people have famine in the past when temperatures went up and down. You ought to be concerned.
Think of how genetic scientists might be leery of publishing findings on genetic diseases over this very thing.
A triumph of theory over practice ....the mantra of the wooly minded intellectual .I spent most of my working life in London dealing with the public and was constantly frustrated by the ignorance of media comments and lack of experience regarding social comment .
Murray's Bell Curve was a recommended read by my tutor 30 years ago when I studied law, specifically, for the criminology module. Funny thing was, the guy was as woolly a liberal as you would imagine an academic to be, but he did not consider his personal ideology to be a justification for narrowing the gates of enquiry. How different things are today.
Now THIS was a good Simon talk about how the thing works behind the scene -- the subtle brainwashing to influence opinion and consensus building. Not to mention the response to Lynn's suggestion in the magazine article. You know who else uses these tactics all the time? Wilkins & crew.
Presumably the writer of the piece doesn't believe in The Theory of Evolution by Natural Selection.........
Such a shame that New Scientist has been taken over.
It has now been well over 100 years since the first Nobel Prizes were awarded in the science's fields. In all that time almost all were won by people of white European or US backgrounds with some also from Indian & Japan, but I cannot recall of a single instance of a prize being awarded for to anyone from Africa...comments..??
its coz they are racist
It’s common knowledge.
How do you explain joos winning so many Nobel prizes?
You have to consider that Africans, especially black Africans don’t have access to the same level of nutrition and education that Europeans have.
It's called diversity in a way that we aren't supposed to acknowledge, even though the science behind it is solid. Different groups have different mean IQs. Google The Mean IQ Map of the World.
Some years (and perhaps even now) there was a scheme to bring together Danish people, generally well educated pensioners who were aged and lonely, and Africans - the results were excellent with personal wealth and skills driving small businesses and ideas and tools and supplies aiding development - and the social factor - people building bridges and learning from one another:- that is a wonderful thing. But Stalinmer's idea of simply repressing people from speaking out when frightened and/or not enjoying large numbers of other people arriving in droves with neither credentials nor skills is doing everything to encourage confrontation and conflict, the man's a Narcissistic moron who has done more to cause racial tension than anyone I can think of alive today. I can only presume that the only people who buy it now, are people who never read it, just like to leave it on a coffee table at home, hoping that it makes them look clever
The New Scientist magazine has become more and more disappointing over the last decade or so. It is increasingly the case that in every episode a proportion of the articles are selected because of their political implications, or are written with an extreme political bias. It’s such a pity that the magazine no longer takes a scientific approach.
Yes.. hazards as the random 24hr bans I keep getting......
With simple bloody mindness, it can be argued that science argues against evolution. What tripe!
The fact is, I believe, many/most of the top geneticists are well aware of the differences between peoples of distinct ancestries - the just keep their mouths shut on the subject for fear of the consequences.
Absolutely. Both genetics and anthropology show the truth. Both fields unfortunately have been corrupted by the Marxists.
Oh Simon, how dare you follow that science, you know it's the wrong sort 😱
presumably Simon is talking about Quantum Theory, developed by many scientists, and Einstein too - who was at first sceptical about it. Newton's classical theories were not overturned by QT, which only applies to physics at the atomic level.
I think Simon was talking about the fact the Nazis (then and now) ridiculed Einstein's ideas about a quantum Universe only because he was Jewish (regardless non-practicing).
@@AngelBaby-cp6kf That,'s true. but his intro to this tried to summarise the theories as if one replaced the other.

Even if it was proven that such a thing as a master race exists, that wouldn’t make said race entitled to treat others terribly. So what do you think should be done?
There’s a good reason why ethics is a mandatory part of science programs in university.
That is great but they need ethics in politics far worse.
The problem is that the white race isn't gaining any friends harping on about how superior they are. This only breeds hatred, and this leads to an even tighter Gordian Knot.
