For ppl that dont know much about cat behaviour, that's one way they say "I love you" - I like to think the kitty is saying I love you, and thank you, to B12 and the robots that got him out. I think Julien summed up the game, for a game with a cat and robots it’s jammed packed with emotion visually beautiful I’ll be thinking about this game for a while
I think this is the only game I've watched multiple people play AND rewatched all their playthroughs multiple times. Coming back to this is super comforting
I've never run into a game that emotionally impacted the players as much as this one. This game was like when you finish reading a really good book and then you have that emotional crash afterwards. Elevated cat behaviour.
SPOILER: I reeeeally think that B-12 is alive and in the network again! At the very end if the game when the kitty walks away, the consoles on the wall move into focus and they flicker up, just like how B-12 controlled the consoles and lights in the very first chapter before they were uploaded into the drone. I think they were able to get back in the network! Maybe they can reach Momo or Clementine, and some of the Companions can upload them into a real robot!
If you get the opportunity to play this game, take it slow and savor it. Find every nap spot and let it zoom all the way out and screenshot. He skipped through some of my favorite nap spots and they brought me to tears bc of how beautiful they were. Also, at the end, watch the capsule around the city completely open up. As an engineer this was such a cool detail seeing how the mechanics of this hermetic ceiling pull back in a structurally-sound manner. For this game, the details make the most difference.

Usually when a game takes sooo long and everyone in the gaming community is so hyped about it, it's so disappointing but wow. It was way better than anything you can imagine. They really put in work in not just the cat design but the story and graphics is amazing.

I had beaten this game in 7.5 hours. The next day while sick with covid AND it being.. that time of the month lol I was crying explaining the ending to my husband. I mean I was laughing while crying because I was surprised it made me actually cry talking about it even he was like “why are you laughing it’s ok if you cry!” Man that ending got my ass.
People complain about the ending being "lackluster" need to stop having their hands being held. *SPOILERS* Whether the cat finds its friends is entirely up to you and you don't have to have the game spell everything out for you. Also the indication of that split moment before it cuts to the credits indicating that B-12 is indeed alive is another great hook that doesn't have to spell things out for you. It leaves enough to the imagination and is fine as is.
I love this game so much, I've watched at least 8 playthroughs, and this is my second time watching Julen's. His is the best, most raw and honest, yet also funny and cute. I know I will come back to watch this over and over. Just bought the game for my brother for Christmas, can't wait to watch him play (and he's an actual cat-dad!) Peace and biscuits to everyone!
I was crocheting while watching this and every time the cat in the game meowed I thought it was one of my three cats irl. I had to keep looking up and checking lol
I got chills throughout the whole play through. It was so charming and sweet and I really really am so excited to see what other games this team puts out whether it’s in this same world or a different one I cannot wait to see more from them.
I loveeeeed playing this, I think it took me 7 hours in total. I tried playing 100% but I miss just one memory, and I missed 2 out of the 6 badges in the game. I gotta do one more play through to satisfy my need for that 100%. I thoroughly enjoyed watching Julien’s play through, it’s fun seeing how other people progress and figure out the puzzles in this game. Great job, great game, 10/10 babyyyy
You should play outer wilds! Its also done by Annapurna studios. They've done some of my favorite games and they are so detailed and story driven! Like what remains of edith finch and the unfinished swan...all soooooo good! If there was any game I wish I could experience again for the first time outer wilds is definitely on that list

My cat looks so much like the cat in this game, except he only has one eye. I had another cat that was a half stray/outdoor cat, he just couldn’t fully be happy being indoors so we let him out when he wanted. My one eyed cat was strictly indoors since I got him as a kitten and also bc of his one eye but he always wanted to go outside with his older brother. I feel like this is what my cat thought his brother was always doing, going on a crazy adventure each time. Watching this was like watching my cat live out his outdoor exploring dreams and also what fun to imagine that’s the kind of stuff my other was doing when he went out into the world. This game was so good! I don’t play computer or video games but I really want to play this one. I was definitely crying along with Julian in the end. So good!
