You said that the true peak limiting setting makes the track from a technical view to be louder. Does that mean that spotify will reduce the loudness of the track to the listener? Even after converting to .aac?

Haha no that would be deafening. The Pro L2 measures LUFS in a weird way - it compares it to either -14 LUFS or -9 LUFS. So the +2 was in reference to -9LUFS, so it was -7 LUFS. Not sure why they use this method in their plugins.

You can change it to “actual” to get a normal short-term LUFS readout

@@sageaudio ive been working as a mixing engineer for the biggest artists in Greece for more than 4 years, and from what i learned thru experience and other engineers is in trap/hiphop name it as you want music of 2023 the final limiter has to be a brickwall limiter. So trying to preserve dynamics and stuff doesnt really make sense on the final limiter. The only thing you need it for is brickwall limiting, truepeak limiting cause its very close to the actual truepeak algorithm and oversampling/ceiling.
Modern algorithm sounds best
