I have a CoolerMaster GP27Q the only annoying thing is I have to remember to turn HDR off when photo or video editing. The monitor has a factory calibration for srgb that's supposed to be very accurate so I have stuck with that. Should probably look into a spiders at some point.

@@JoeMaranophotography I find the spider will just tweak it and iron out any colour shifts you have so it’s worth it

I use gigabyte curved gaming monitor for editing, it has about 400 nits max brightness, and it's pretty color accurate.
I do have like separate profile that is for editing photos for social media, and other for printing, it's good to have profiles that are close to what photos will be consumed on, especially if color accuracy is not the most important in the photography assume that you do, unless you work for a major brand in which case you would need 100% color accuracy.
But for most of us just good colors will be more than enough, probably most of us won't notice little hue shifts here and there, and if you can, you can just eyeball it and correct manually so it's good enough 😂

@@Deruzejaku 100% I would like to get another monitor just so I have larger work space but aside from that I’m not hell bent over screens. Like you said it f it’s big commercial work it needs to be correct but other than that passable is fine

Great video, great info! Just an fyi seems like your iso on your camera was pretty high making your footage kinda grainy, you might want to lower it a little! Just trying to help a man out!
