what I am liking as I just found this channel is the silverado doing trails and the build out is alot like mine that I am doing. Keep up the videos with the big rig!
@paul murphy thank you!!Yea absolutely, the Silverado is pretty much in most of my videos and will be in more in the future. Its a good platform and has good capabilities.
now i see why people buy jeeps or narrow profile 4x4's to navigate rough roads....that chevy pickup is out of its class even on this moderate off road adventure. thanks for posting an interesting video, though.
Recently started off-roading and took the alder creek route going North to 1N09 through the 330. I was driving a F350 CC Long bed 😅 so definitely saw some limitations with it. My boss has the GMC variant of this truck so I know how terrible the visibility is where as mine the seat sits higher
Have fun man!! it’ll probably be challenging with a 2wd but i guess that depends on the driver. Im curious . Let us know how it goes. Hopefully you have someone with you. 🤘🏽🤘🏽
@@MPTrailGroup yes I live in Orange County. I will definitely check you guys out, and it’s always good to know there is people sharing knowledge for those who don’t know anything about a certain subject.
There were plenty of potential spots towards big bear. Although I’m not sure if you can just camp anywhere in a National Forest. 😆. Maybe someone can chime in on that.
@@robertpanda2507 lol yea man, we were pretty tempted on camping along the way. There were plenty of spots , just wasn’t sure if allowed. Ive been trying to make a phone call to the San Bernardino Natl Forest but cant get a hold of them
Jesus, I seriously thought the Silverado was gonna bottom out or dent his body as the rig didn't have any rock sliders... Not enough ground clearance for the Silverado...With the amount of gear he has in the back, I'm surprised he doesn't have a bigger lift to go places... Feel like the small lift and tires prohibits him from going to more fun places! Cool video nonetheless 👍
Parts of that trail looked narrow where many of the obstacles were. I have a Ford Raptor and am wondering if it’s a bit too wide to safely navigate thru? When you guys doing this again?
I’ve done this trail by my self super easy and fun. Just did a Lytle Creek by myself last week. And it’s deep ruts. Rn
Cool 2 wheel drive trail...lol
Easy day lol

The chevy does pretty good on easy to moderate trails. That’s usually what we hit anyway. But yes, its nice to have a jeep for more technical stuff.

Looks like a nice area to check out
Yea man, give it a try. Trail was a lot of fun!!
What GoPro mount did you use for the undercarriage shot? Thanks
It is the gooseneck one with the little clamp at the end. Its awesome, super flexible
Looks fun! 👌
@SoCal_ZR2 Thanks man.
fun trail to run in my old 2wd Ranger

it was super easy
Sick!!
Thats what im thinking about doing
Love the content. Can you guys share the trail so we can make it a company trip.
Thank you and Yes absolutely!!
Do you think off road truck with no A/T tires can go thru this terrain..?
Im sure you’ll be fine. Just go with somebody 👍🏽
@@MPTrailGroup thanks for sharing this information I’m new to this stuff but looking forward to it. And whilling to learn
@Jeremy Brown you’re welcome man. If you’re local hit us up in our consolidated group on Facebook. There’s a bunch of trail runs there. Overland 4Lo

@Jeremy Brown Awesome man, i live in the same area as well. hope to see you in one of our future trips 🤙🏽
you have any info on his set up, does he have a lift kit on that Silverado?
He runs a leveling kit. Bilstein struts in the front and Zone add a leaf in the rear. Running 33 inch tires.
@@MPTrailGroup thanks 👍💯
@@Whitehatchicano no problem man.
Did you guys disconnect sway bars while on trail?
@J M negative. I don’t think its necessary for this trail and we don’t have that capability. It’ll be too much work lol
Do you have the coordinates for your end point?
@Blake Esken yea man, i just updated the description. Listed the point where it meets burns canyon and end of burns canyon as well towards big bear.
@@MPTrailGroup thanks! Looking to do that trail next!
@@thelexuslandxer you wont be disappointed. Awesome trail.
Awesome
Thank you!!!
What was your time to complete the trail? Does this trail have many camping spots?
@robert panda I think around 3 hours to big bear

I think it took us 3 hours. We took our time going up.

Yessir, based on the same platform. But yea Lexus

You should be good man, your raptor should fit no problem. We may actually come back and hit this trail again in the next month or so.
@@MPTrailGroup if you do, hit me up brother. I’ll tag along
Sounds good bro. Hit me up on instagram or our facebook group @MP Trailgroup so i can send you invites 🤙🏾
@@MPTrailGroup appreciate it. Unfortunately I don’t have either one of those. Cant stand FB and don’t think I’ve ever tried Instagram. Thanks tho
@@robertf3340 no worries bro!!!
did someone say Crocs?? lol
yea bro great footwear 😆 😆
Harder lines WTF
You should go 4 low bro. Your still on s 2wd trail. But 4 low bro.. that first obstacle was ah.. non existent. I've had driveways worse than this.
