+Sportbike Track Gear I remember the year the cross-plane R1 came out. First time someone rode up to our meeting spot, I heard it before I saw it and turned around expecting to see a V8 muscle car.
I had my first track day just last weekend on my RC390 at little tally and it was the most fun ive ever had! I really wanna get my gsxr 600 track ready and ride it on this track. Looks much faster than Talladega
No need to be in a hurry for that bigger bike. The longer you ride the 390 on the track the better rider you will become. Once you are able to get the 390 to it's limit then mover up to the 600. - Brian Van
Brian really knows his stuff. Solid advice. I've been riding a 600 since 2010 on tracks and still learn new things all the time. Riding is a non-stop learning experience!
+n7hevn No idea on these exact laps, Jason (the rear facing camera) was running low 40's most of the weekend while Van's (front facing) best was 1:34'!
Hey I'll be here for the 3 days with you guys in October. Trying to learn the lines from now. I'm wondering ahould I change my gearing from Road A gearing? Zx6r.
I do not typically change the gearing on my bike from track to track for track days. If the bike comes off the corner with the gearing you have now it should perform well at a new track. Once you get up to speed you can better understand if you could go faster with different gearing. - Van
If I ever got the opportunity to ride any track over there it'd have to be barber! looks like you had great weather too. Do they still those metal spiders? I remember seeing them watching AMA superbike on TV
+John Barnfield Been on track for two weekends, and one visit to the museum. This location is one fantastic place, definitely make it a Bucket List item to do.
in your next track video will you guys jus do your laps from the forward POV from both bikes instead of switching back and forth between the front and rear?
Sportbike Track Gear I just installed Bridgestone Battlax RS10 and the stickers seemed plastic like and slippery. Why not just take them off? (Was my first tire change, so I suppose this is a rookie question)
n7hevn Well, I really like my new ones. The 2016 design seem on point. No ABS/TCS with 36 psi front/rear, the tires are hard to slip on acceleration and braking... (Warmed/dry pavement.)
Best track in America, thank you Mr Barber
I am going to have a cold one in his honor tonight! - Van
Excellent...
+Abdul Almeel Thanks!
Without reading the video info i would say the camera bike is vtwin. Sounds like one at least from the front cam.
+scyzor123 There were two and both are in-line 4's... That cross-plane R1 is deceiving...

Yeah, really an amazing sounding machine!
Wow! Awesome! I love the sound of that R1 !!!
+Motorcycle Extremist The motor combined with the Akra exhaust make the bike sound like nothing else!
I was there that weekend. I walked by your trailer a few times. I should've said Hi! Good riding btw!!
+r3yrey Always be sure to stop by! We love to meet our customers!
+Sportbike Track Gear I really should've! Oh well I'm showing my support. Just purchased some tires and chest protector! Cheers
+r3yrey We will be back down at some point this year (hopefully a couple of times) so maybe we will see you there!
yeah! I noticed the stickers too.

Thanks for the feedback and kind words. This is actually what i was starting to think lol

Nice! I only live about 30mi from there, I'll have to do that next time
It is an awesome track! Make sure you go especially since you live so close!
+Sportbike Track Gear sounds good haven't ran
My 2016 R1 very hard yet just passed 600mi
Sounds like the perfect time to take it out for a ride on the track!
What were the lap times....?
+n7hevn No idea on these exact laps, Jason (the rear facing camera) was running low 40's most of the weekend while Van's (front facing) best was 1:34'!
+Sportbike Track Gear Cool. I need to get out there with Van some time, only been there twice, and was at a :35 ! ;)
That is awesome! Last fall he did a few low 33's but apparently a couple months off riding really put him out of shape...
Sick video. I plan to go to this track this year.
Get that done, awesome experience for sure man.
Did you forget to take the stickers off the front tires before going out?
+EmanP223 I personally never take them off and just let them burn off on the track. Not sure why I suppose. Haha
i never remove the stickers either. bad luck
nice. wish I could ride like that !
Practice, you will ride like that
With determination and practice you will ride like this.
whiteboiwyatt With determination
Good to see some riding video after watching all your store videos.

Hey will that ecu flash you did smooth out the throttle? It's so on/off hard to be smooth on it.
If I ever got the opportunity to ride any track over there it'd have to be barber! looks like you had great weather too.

+John Barnfield It is unlikely that all the décor around the track will ever be removed. It is what makes Barber special, besides the museum too.
+n7hevn that's something I'd love to see too
+John Barnfield Been on track for two weekends, and one visit to the museum. This location is one fantastic place, definitely make it a Bucket List item to do.
+John Barnfield Still have all the art. Make the trip, totally worth it!
You need to mount a camera directly on the side of the bike for passing angle footage. lol
+donnie byers That would have been great! Next time we will have a ton more video!
Nice riding!!!!!!!
+HERI HAO Thanks for watching!
in your next track video will you guys jus do your laps from the forward POV from both bikes instead of switching back and forth between the front and rear?
looks very exciting...I got to get on a track someday!
0:59 Look at the guy to the far right, he almost went down.
Matthew Blevins no he didn’t. Dip in road only, and a little shake.
i m in love i have to go there. that exit is kind of weird isnt it??
Sick
I can't believe people leave their stickers on new tires O.O
+Vman Why is that?
Sportbike Track Gear I just installed
Bridgestone Battlax RS10 and the stickers seemed plastic like and slippery. Why not just take them off? (Was my first tire change, so I suppose this is a rookie question)
Depends on where you were riding. No problems to take them off but they last less than a full lap at the track so they usually just get left on. haha
+Vman ....that was your first problem. Get rid of the Bridgestone's! ;)

watching this video from the R1 I'm like yeahhh! switch the the cbr. awww.
great video!! man, I wish I were wealthy. I'd buy 1 of everything you guys have haha. keep up the great work.
