- In this English lesson I'll help you learn some words and phrases to talk about cities. Cities are amazing places and there is so much to learn if you want to be able to talk about them in English.
As always this will be much more than an English vocabulary lesson! Not only will I be teaching you words, but I'll also be using a lot of phrases that will be handy to know as well. In this free English class you'll learn words and phrases like: downtown, outskirts, suburbs, transit, one-way street, and more!

Many thanks for this lesson.
I was extremely surprised, not to say shocked by the very expensive prices of the internet in Canada because in France we have many operators that provide internet and the prices are around € 15 to € 50, unlimited depending on the options chosen and that regardless of the location and very often with the fiber network. It is true that some very remote places are poorly served or have no network altogether. But France is, however, far more than 90% covered by the internet.
Regarding the topic of children who live in cities, yes, of course it is very important that very young children grow up or have contact with life in the countryside. Indeed, I remember that one day a primary or elementary school teacher asked the children to draw a cow 🐄 and a fish 🐟, some drew the cow in the form of a quarter of cheese “La vache qui rit (*)”🧀 and a frozen stick 🍱 for the fish. Fortunately, this is not a generality and they may be extreme cases but the very fact that it can happen is absolutely appalling isn't it?
(*) Very well known brand in France.
In France every year, there is an agricultural fair which is organized for a week in Paris where a large number of farmers meet with their cows🐄, goats🐐, sheep🐑, pigs🐷, chickens🐔, etc…, As well as producers of meat, cold meats, cheese, poultry, etc... this allows as many children as possible to visit the show and discover the animals and learn to eat healthily through the products produced directly by the farmers 🍎🍐 🍓🍅🥕🧄🧅🍗🥩🥚🥖.

@@POCEnglish Hello, Mahdi. I looked at some of your videos, that's my opinion, I'm sorry if I offended you somewhere. First, you need to achieve a uniform volume level of your videos. Some are very quiet, while others are louder, especially musical inserts. Regarding the material that you are explaining, it is more suitable for the level from B2 and above, and the main reasons for this are the speed of explanation, the use of complex words, and a large amount of gestures. When you learn a foreign language, you want a calm, measured, non-distracting teaching. Everything is great for you, but I have a level below B2 and I don't understand everything. Develop, I will be glad to see your new videos. My respect.
