I am 70 years old living in Lincolnshire .started watching the Blues in 1968...don't get to the Matches anymore..but I feel that I am still part of the club watching you discuss everything..KRO and Thanks and Merry Xmas
Thank you very much for your comment Terry which is greatly appreciated. We are so pleased that you enjoy our podcasts and a very Merry Christmas to you as well! KRO!
Just watched the BluesTV interview with PAIK and the Korean members of the ladies team. Sounds like they are being really well looked after by the club and Paik was saying the reason he extended his contract was because of all the things that the club are doing and the quality of players that the club has signed , saying there is a great atmosphere in the dressing room. Have a great Christmas and KRO!
Thank you very much for your comment Nigel which is greatly appreciated. I haven't seen that yet but I will be looking forward to watching it later. Paik is a fantastic player for us to have at the club.KRO!
It was a great interview, it's clever when signing foreign players, to sign several from the same country to help them settle. The 3 girls are very good, especially Cho YuRi
I absolutely admire Birmingham City FC & the City itself, Blues fans are different to villa fans & West Bromwich Albion fans are different to both villa & Blues, up here in Scotland i & a few have chosen BCFC because the fans, the club, just everything about the Blues, salt of the earth. KRO 🏴.
As discussed, a year ago on Boxing day you guys decided to set this podcast up, so happy anniversary guys !! Great content as always, look forward to meeting up with you some day, sharing a pint As a taster, I've dug out some old programmes from the 60s and 70s, memories of matches attended with my old man - happy days now returning, going with my lad to the Burton game ...
Thank you very much for your comment which is greatly appreciated. We are pleased you enjoy our content. It’s great looking at old programmes and I bet you find some interesting things and great content in them. You can’t beat the old style programmes. KRO!
@BCFCRoyalBlue yep best so far Blues vs Bolton, 20th Feb 1971, Trevor 4 goal game as a 16 year old, comment in the programme from John Sillett - "He's in a mould of his own, this boy, times his runs like Martin Peters, scores goals, makes goals, takes knocks" - wise man that Sillett...
Love your stuff as always guys, you are right this is a great time to be a Blues fan. I'm 48 now and have seen some ups and downs but finally feel we may be getting the owners that a second city club bearing our name deserves. Hope to bump into you at some point, though I sit in the Main stand, so it's unlikely. Keep it up fellas. KRO.
Thank you very much for your comment Kizzy which is greatly appreciated. We had a few ups but many downs over the years but you finally get the feeling we are in the up with these owners! If you do see us at a game then please come and say hello! KRO!
Thank you very much for your comment John which is greatly appreciated. We are pleased you enjoy our videos and if you see us at a match please come over and say hello. KRO!
The fan park has a really small capacity so you need to make sure you get there early as when it's a full capacity it's one in one out. So it looks like you will be having your traditional drinks in town for breakfast before making your way to the ground 😁 It's fair to say it has been quite the 12 months for Blues. Joys and Sorrows. All captured, discussed and shared by the best Blues social media content makers. What a year it has been for you both. Congratulations, gentlemen. I think we will see a very different boxing day performance and result this year. Big shout out and a massive thank you to all those involved in making our club one to be proud of both on and off the pitch. It's fair to say that the club understands the importance of the community amd and helping those most in need. I wish you both and all the other blue noses a very Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄 😁. Keep Right On 💙
Thank you very much for your comment Richard which is greatly appreciated. Thank you also for your continued interaction with our channel since we started. We are very grateful to you and all who contribute to our channel. KRO!
I've been waiting for you to recognise the fact that we have a completely new Team and staff and to gel this quickly is due to the business model and the new infrastructure 👏 Great shout Great pod . Jason
Great discussion lads, only been able to get to one away day, Barnsley but what a day, missed them (due to not being able to get tickets) Agree, think were ahead of the game, said in earlier podcast think 2 points a game (92 points) will get us in the top 2. ( 42 from 18 ) Boxing Day, understand no trains! Rest of the season, sure we can see this through and get promoted but also sure there will be a period of games when things dont go to 'plan' ---wouldnt be Blues otherwise! KRO
Thank you very much for your comment Steve which is greatly appreciated. There will always be up and downs at Blues that is for sure, but at least things are now moving in the right direction! KRO!
I would Love to come and Meet You Guys on Boxing Day BUT Working Xmas day and Boxing Day ... Have a Great Xmas Guys .. Hope You and Your Family Enjoy the Festive Season .. KRO
Thank you very much for your comment which is greatly appreciated. I’m sure we will meet up at some point but in the meantime we wish you and your family a fantastic Christmas as well. KRO!
I had to look twice at the Shrewsbury result, but i think it gave us a wake-up call and it has served a purpose. Personally i think the squad-depth is going to play a large role over the next month or two, games coming thick and fast, picking up an injury or two, this is where i think where we have the advantage over our rivals. We have the cover. Just noticed the site is coming up to its first birthday, congratulations, i'm sure it's the first of many.
Couldn't agree more with this David. Our squad depth will certainly be a huge positive for us moving through the busy periods. Just need to get rotation going in key positions :) Thanks for the kind words, we really appreciated it mate, KRO!
Thank you very much for your comment Keith which is greatly appreciated. I think a lot of Bluenoses would like to see that as well. It shows you how strong our squad is if he can’t get a regular game. KRO!
Another great podcast lads. As far as January transfer market goes , i think several fringe players could be going.... yhe likes of Tyler Roberts, Sanderson and even possibly Laird (although I like him, needs to improve his final delivery) I think we'll sign 2, possibly 3 players. As you said sbout financial restrictions are less in L1, so possibly big signings, Championship ready players, players that could take us beyond the Championship even
Thank you very much for your comment which is greatly appreciated. After the fantastic summer transfer window, the January one will be interesting. Like you I think we will see some movement in both directions and as always with Blues these days I’m sure we might have a few surprises! KRO!
Gary, the Cambridge game has already been rescheduled for Tuesday 11th February. They still need to reschedule Stevenage at home & Leyton Orient at home as that game was supposed to be when we play Lincoln in the cup. It’s a shame they couldn’t put one of those games in this midweek as we would have gone 9 days without playing from last Saturday to next Monday night against Crawley. I see the Villa U21’s made it through to the last 16 last night so it could still be a blues v villa final at Wembley next April! KRO
Thank you very much for your comment which is greatly appreciated. Yes, I noticed the Cambridge game in the calendar yesterday so that is good, hopefully the others will be re-scheduled soon as well. KRO!
It's not just that we have spent millions, if that is said against most other teams, it's because they have added a smaller number of quality players to an existing decent team and the expectation grows accordingly. But we have virtually replaced the whole squad. Through a settling in period, we can go top by winning our game in hand. We'd all have taken that before the season. KRO
Thank you very much for your comment which is greatly appreciated. I agree and as I said in the podcast, given we have a completely new team I I think we are ahead of where we should be. We are doing well! KRO!
have to say i missed out on season tickets by minuets for me and my daughter its now cost me more buying tickets for each game and will proberbly cost me more over season but own fault but worth it keep up great work
That's a shame David. Hopefully you are still enjoying going down and taking in the undefeated action this season! With the improvements this season it's just great being down at St Andrews. Thanks for the kind words, KRO! :)
Hopefully, you should be able to buy half-season tickets in the not too distant future? That will sort you out for the remainder of this season, and then you'll be all set for next season, too, and so on, so forth 😁 KRO 💙
I remember going to Swindon in early January for the 3rd FA Cup, and we lost. We went on to get promoted that season 71/72. ( I think) Please check, memory isn't what it was. Great show
Thank you very much for your comment Steve which is greatly appreciated. Yes, the Burton and Blackpool games will both be sell outs, as you point out there are not many tickets left for either game, KRO!
Agree regarding the segregation, I can understand it if we are playing Millwall, but not against the teams in this league!! Anyway great to be a Blues supporter at the moment KRO
I think the club are aware it's ridiculous themselves but with the way the stand is designed in regards to entrance's and facilities its more complicated then it might seem. Just from what I've heard online. It is bonkers though. Even the Manchester derby at the Etihad this weekend had tiny dividers 😆😆 Thanks for commenting, KRO! :)
I think it is so wrong the Crawley game is late compared to everyone else's game. We are playing more games in less time to other teams feels like it has been done on purpose against us. I think what the cub not just the team but the whole club has done and is doing is amazing. I feel some fans moaning we should be scoring more is because we have never been in a position like this ever. Keep up the amazing work on the podcast and have a happy Xmas.
Completely agree Paul, the Monday scheduling seems really unfair to us as well. This is the downfall to TV rights. Lot's of football but often silly schedules. Bring back the standard Saturday at 3pm kick offs! 😆😆 Thanks for the kind words, we really appreciate it, KRO :)
@BCFCRoyalBlue will be interesting to see what happens with the 3pm kick off as I am sure the TV contracts are up soon for that and I think sky will go for the whole thing
I have been unwell not able to attend games I was going to do the sleepout but just unable to do it now because I'm not fit enough, I have sent in my donation it was the best I could do I wish I could have done more. I haven't been commenting or chatting on live streams/ videos because I've been in hospital. I don't know what I did yesterday or any time this week. Anyway KRO
Thank you for your comment which is greatly appreciated. So sorry to hear you have been unwell and hope you get better soon. Have a fantastic Christmas! KRO!
Without a doubt, Birmingham City have completely transformed both on and off the pitch. The leadership team is working tirelessly to ensure the club is not only visible but also actively supporting the community in and around Birmingham. This makes me, and I'm sure all Birmingham fans, incredibly proud of "our" club's efforts. Long may it continue! On the pitch, I'm absolutely delighted. We have a clear identity and a team that is exceptionally well-managed and coached. While we all crave more goals, for me, the priority is securing those 3 points and ensuring we get out of this league at the first attempt. Have a wonderful Christmas, gentlemen. Keep Right On
Thank you very much for your comment Mark which is greatly appreciated. It’s great to be finally going in the right direction and these owners are starting to make things happen! Merry Christmas to you too! KRO!
I've heard and read that Redmond is a potential target. I think he would be a great addition to the squad. He's only 30 so still has a lot to offer in terms of ability as well as bringing a lot of big game experience. He's a good professional who looks after himself and you don't hear anything negative about him so he would be great for the changing room. And of course, he came through the club so it would be good to welcome him back. It starts with Redmond and at some point in the future hopefully we will be welcoming back Jude Bellingham and taking his shirt out of retirement (I still cringe a little bit at that decision). KRO 💙
Thank you very much for your comment Phil which is greatly appreciated. Yes, lots of speculation about him over the last few days. I'm sure he would love to come back! KRO!
Merry Xmas to EVERYONE, and an even better 2025. I personally think Redmond would be a backward step, he was quick enuf to leave, I wouldn't give him the lifeline back, same as Demarai Gray, JJ, Rutland, they've made their decisions, we don't need them, the only 2 I would have back in an heartbeat, is Jude, (can't see that one 😂😂), and Che Adams who has always shown the club and us supporters nothing but respect since he left, nothing personal to any of them. 34!!!!! You must have had a hell of a paper round you look older than me and I'm 64!!!! 😂😂. Only joking mate. Oldham away is a cold day out as well
@KeithWard-dz2yf I think you should get a shirt with Redmonds name and number on the back 😆🤣🤣 if he signs of course 🤣🤣 or just sit quietly if he does sign when he does well 🤣🤣 All in good jest 😁 Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄 KRO 💙
@richardpincher8936 if he signs i hope he does well, I just think it's a backwards step, I love seeing the will to win and commitment in this team , we havnt always had it, but, it's all about opinions ain't it mate, merry Xmas to you and all bluenoses everywhere let's hope we have a great 2025.KRO
Not sure I would enjoy the fan park from what you guys said. I sometimes have aural sensory overload which could get triggered. No fair cos it sounds fun! (The fan park, that is, not the sensory overload just to be clear. lol) Totally agree about us being a new squad, and with someone who is brand new to managing it. KRO Forever True!
I understand mate and it’s a real shame it could cause that response. Whilst it’s all fun and positive vibes it makes absolutely no sense if it does more good than bad. Let’s get some good wins over this festive season and cement our place back at the top of the table. KRO! :)
If we get a winger in January then where does Stansfield play? If he stays wide left then keshi, Hansson, wright, yokoyama and the new winger are all going for one position? Or May gets benched? Sounds brutal. KRO
Wright and Hansson have been injured for a while now and Yokoyama is being used more as an impact sub then proper starter with his age and experience. More covering an area we have been hit hardest more than anything. You're right though a fully fit and firing squad would cause some selection headaches :) Thanks for commenting, KRO!
I am from Canada and away fan allocations does not exist here or in the USA for professional sports due to travel distances. So whatever away fans go are just booked in with all other fans which is always a small amount or unknown for how many. My question is if you have enough home fans to fill your stadium why even give away fans an allocation at all. Its your home stadium, make it your fortress but with away fans there it helps the opposite team. Never understood this mentality in British football, if you cant fill the stadium then it makes sense for small clubs revenue to allocate away fans but in Birmingham's case not needed and fill your home fans needs and make it harder for away teams to win. As a side note, i always laugh when i hear Plymouth fans moan about travel to Sunderland or Norwich being like 4-5 hour drive. In Canada hockey game between Montreal and Toronto which is 5-6hr drive is a derby and Montreal vs Vancouver is a 5-6hr flight! :)
Thanks for the comment, greatly appreciated mate! I can’t speak for all football fans here but the banter between the home and away supporters is one of the best things about English football. It’s the songs, the tension and the rivalries we have that make it such an amazing sport and often so fierce up and down the country. Also you can’t beat the feeling of being in the away end and getting a win, it’s amazing! Good point about travelling. We are fortunate in the UK but would hate 5-6 hours on a regular basis. It would kill me off 🤣🤣 Thanks again, KRO! :)
Thank you very much for your comment Phil which is greatly appreciated. There are quite a few candidates, however at this moment, although I love Jay and Alfie I would go for Klarer. KRO!

Ref recruitment I see Buchanan as a potential left footed centre back, don't forget that Ben Davies is both older and on loan

Oldham away is a cold day out as well
@KeithWard-dz2yf I think you should get a shirt with Redmonds name and number on the back 😆🤣🤣 if he signs of course 🤣🤣 or just sit quietly if he does sign when he does well 🤣🤣
All in good jest 😁 Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄
KRO 💙
@richardpincher8936 if he signs i hope he does well, I just think it's a backwards step, I love seeing the will to win and commitment in this team , we havnt always had it, but, it's all about opinions ain't it mate, merry Xmas to you and all bluenoses everywhere let's hope we have a great 2025.KRO
Not sure I would enjoy the fan park from what you guys said.
I sometimes have aural sensory overload which could get triggered. No fair cos it sounds fun! (The fan park, that is, not the sensory overload just to be clear. lol)
Totally agree about us being a new squad, and with someone who is brand new to managing it.
You're right though a fully fit and firing squad would cause some selection headaches :)
Thanks for commenting, KRO!
It would kill me off 🤣🤣
Thanks again, KRO! :)
Nathan redmond has cropped up a few times in the last couple of weeks
Thank you very much for your comment Josh which is greatly appreciated. Yes, i've seen his name banded about. Interesting! KRO!
Q. If the season was to end today, who would be your player of the season?
Thank you very much for your comment Phil which is greatly appreciated. There are quite a few candidates, however at this moment, although I love Jay and Alfie I would go for Klarer. KRO!
