So true about the 4k discs, but can't stress enough the importance of a good player. The Panasonic UB820 is completely insane, the inbuilt brightness booster that goes beyond your TV settings is a game changer....
👀👀👀👀 I may need to see this player you speak of...
Next level, you won't be disappointed. I find Dolby Vision discs too dark, so the brightness setting in the player itself is amazing. The UI for smart apps is dated and don't care for it much, but the player for its primary purpose is worth its weight in gold 👌.@@NewStuffTV1
I had a 98" projector. Kept thinking about the bulb life. Sold it. I've now got the 85" X90L. Awesome tv
Awesome to see you so stoked about this tv. I used a lgc2 oled as a monitor for about 6 months and when I went to get a tv for the living room I went with the x90l instead of another oled. I love it just as much as my c2 after I dialed it in. I know 1k isn’t “cheap” but compared to the price of everything else, the picture quality you get for the price is unreal. I’ll keep this tv until it dies. Even if it gets moved to another room eventually.
Man You (11:27) Made the correct choice with that particular AV Receiver. I have the same set up, I went all in also: Sony wireless surround, wireless rear surround + up firing speaker, Center Channel and front speaker with up firing atmos speakers. It's really unbeleivable sound in my opinion. I think I was watching James Bond Spectre & Skyfall and the explosions made items move on the Bedside table ! I'm in UHD Blu-ray Heaven ! Thanks for a great Review as usual.
My Sony X90J still rocks since 2022 ...best TV i ever had ✌🏻
I just got a 85 and 65 inch X90L
I can’t wait to watch the fights!
Thank you for the review it helped a lot!
Smart move!!! Enjoy!!
Hey man Great video review. Could you make a video with the settings the Sony guy told you to get the best picture. I just got the 75” X90L. It’s great but wanna make it better
Thanks
Yep great TV I have a X90L love it.
Love your enthusiasm!!!! Anyways I just watched B the installer review of the Sony Bravia 7 and he liked it for the most part but he did say that those dark scenes are just a bit too dark!!!! The reason I mention all this is that I'm interested in finding out which of these 2 tvs has a better contrast including blooming??????
Thanks for watching! B is definitely thean when it comes to this stuff. I've got my X90L dialed in "perfectly for dark content. I've been using the Bravia 7 for a week as of today, but I'm still tweaking it in regards to blacks and dark scenes.
I have the XF 90 and it has a lot of blooming especially in HDR and Dolby Vision. Is this model and the Bravia 7 almost non-existent or is it like the one I own?
3:14 I have the x90k. 75 inches. I think that's a great tv. My next tv will be a sony as well.
I totally get what you mean with the 90l ruining other tv experiences. I had a x93l that my son broke(RIP $1800) so I bought a $500 Samsung CU7000 and I hate it. Going from Sony Mini LED to Samsung LED was so disappointing. So now im gonna wait to buy the Bravia 8 or possibly 7 depending on the sale.
Hey, would a 65” XR90K be worth $450 if bought used by a family that is moving out of town? Mainly want it for PS5 gaming and some binge watching in my room, currently have a 55 inch JVC tv lol
Hey man I’m a big fan of your TH-cam videos I’m just wondering what was the settings to make it look like OLed on the X90L?
I don’t know how close you can get to make it look like OLED but the guy on TH-cam named Andrew Robinson said to leave it on custom. It’s the best setting supposedly
By the way my local library has started to offer 4k blu ray movies just in the last few days! We are talking about 100 of them and of course I've been checking them out!!! I'm pretty excited about it!!! One more question for you! Did you ever consider trying out an OLED TV??????
That's awesome to hear about your library. I was afraid I had gotten into this too late to enjoy the physical media. I've seen OLED and it's great... I just think it's a tad bit overrated when compared to the capability of Mini OLED & and their prices.
Yes sir! Best overall TV, no questions asked. I love my OLED and its infinite contrast, but it has its downfalls. For the price…can’t beat the X90l.
Could you please let know what fownfall in oled. Just curious. I'm looking to buy either bravia 7 or 9.
What an expensive adventure. Have fun
The only thing that I don’t like is the HDMI. Why the hell they put 4k 120 and eArc in one HDMI? I have to consoles and have a home theater system. Any advice Mr. New Stuff?
I feel you I got a 65 inch also with receiver did you get
The STR-AN1000
I got the str 790 love it
Waiting on your review for the Bravia 7 to see if it's better than the X 90 L
I have both. It’s slightly better, but most definitely not worth the price difference. You are only a little off an A80l. If you don’t want OLED, I’d go X90l and save some cash.
Thanks
@@killerinst1ncz308 hello man, how is the performance in games on x90l?
It’s also known as 4k Blu-ray. Not dvd 😂
I'm a noob! 🤣
@@NewStuffTV1 Yeah, Man, my only source for UHD Blu-ray is Amazon now😭! Guess I'm old fashioned, if the WI-FI goes out can always pop in a good ol' hard copy disc.
Not the Blu ray version 😂😅
😁😁😁👍👍👍🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌👐👐👐👐👐
Bravia 7 has poor viewing angles
Great review my friend. Thank you. I know or at least feel I want maybe an 85"or a 98". I wonder which is better Sony 7 or the X90L❓🤔 I know the 9 is the 💩💩 but super expensive. 👍😎
Thanks for watching! I've seen the 98" X90L in person, and it's MASSIVE! In my opinion, the Bravia 7 is slightly better in brilliance and brightness. However in regards to blacks and dark scenes, it takes some precise tweaking to get the perfect picture because it can get super dark.
The 98" X90L is just too hard to pass up, especially since it will be going on sale soon.
@@NewStuffTV1 Nice 👍 I also see projectors and wonder if I should have a set up like yours. Projector and TV ❓🤔🤔
