Another "special" synergy clara has with other characters is with tingyun. Tingyun's skill buff grants a buff to a characters base atk based on her own atk and also make the character do extra lightning damage when hitting enemies. This pairs extremely well with clara since her on top if providing a big atk buff, counters are considered bonus actions which don't drain tingyun buff's turn duration and also proccs the on hit lightning damage effect. Seeing how this effect and clara's counter has no trigger limit per turn, its very strong (also im pretty sure the effect can crit based on clara's crit stats). It also makes skill point management easier since you don't need to refresh clara's buff and also since tingyun has the second highest base speed in the game for some reason she can provide 100% uptime on her buff while providing a net gain on skill points. The only downside is the damage is considered lightning damage and it wont deplete enemy toughness.
Notice that Tingyun's ult can help Clara recharge her ult by A LOT. And I mean that. With optimal setup Tingyun can provide Clara with nonstop buffed counterattacks which of course is huge

same i got clara at 79 instead of jing yuan and i was so sad but she’s carrying me now while having someone to tank all the dmg, jing yuan would’ve still been nice but i’m not that sad about her because she’s actually one of the better standard characters
@@ako5288 same team as you. I just got to rivet city in the story and the team is level 20. It’s getting tough to fight the enemies since they are lvl 29 but I havent done any warping aside from the “free” 5*
If we can get a character that provides perfect taunt like fire mc to one character and not just increased aggro, clara's full potential will be unleashed

Clara was why I started playing and I got her just a few days ago, she’s amazing! I run her with Natasha, Asta/Tingyun, and March 7th. It’s a very comfortable playstyle, even if I just look away I come back with the enemies dead! I love her I usually start like this: Clara Ult Tingyun Ult Tingyun E on Clara March 7th E on Clara (every other turn, or until shield is depleted) Natasha NA (until someone needs heals lol) everything just dies and i never have skill point management issues!

I’m not sure if anyone will see this comment, but the new 4 star Moze pairs really well with Clara as a sub DPS, with his skill making him un-targetable by enemies, it increases Clara’s chances of being hit significantly, while still providing utility in the form of bonus damage and follow up attacks

I do usually bring Nat and March on teams for comfort - though I think I will trade Nat out for another healer option to diversify the team elements when I get one. If I don't get a copy of Bilou by the time Luocha comes along I think he will be the first 5* I go for

Clara was the guaranteed 5 star I got from the beginner banner. I lost the 50/50 on the seele banner to her but I wasn’t too mad at it. If there’s one character that has always been on my team since I’ve started playing, it’s Clara. Carried me since the beginning.
15:42 Funnily enough, leter updates to HSR have Clara text you asking about a gift she was given. The gift is shoes, which she is thankful for, but immediately says she feels awkward in them and proceeds to never consider wearing.

I’m lucky and got both Clara and her designated light cons and paired her with March 7th so I’m good to go but your video simply validated my decisions. I tried but I don't think it's quite smooth overall. Bronya skill will make Clara's ultimate turn reduced after taking action. Some more Clara skills don't have high scaling DMG. The only benefit is Bronya's ult which paired with Clara's ult- enhanced counter. I think Tingyun is a better option here.
@@rivaynx I hear you and that is a powerful combo but I will say for me it never becomes a problem, when Clara's ult is running and the field is set ( March shield + ult ) you'll get a turn to bronya her to the front without wasting a counter turn. Enemies always attack immediately after , each counter doesn't count as a turn so it never goes to waste. Repeat over and over. Wish I could show you
I got Clara E1 f2p she was the new player 5* for me and I pulled her on the Seele banner, I cannot stress how good the skill not removing the mark is.... I love it
My first 5 star, she is great. I usually just stick her on a Team with March, Natasha + whoever breaks the enemy for maximum comfort (Asta, Seele, Serval) But yeah, I do feel bad whenever I make her run around in the overworld (accidentally) Also fun fact, if you put her on a Team with a Wind, Fire and Lightning character, you can break the weakness of every enemy currently in the game (not recommended though, imo)

She's amazing. Build her like this guide says and you will be happy. March is her best companion and Tingyun probably her best buffer... Then you put in a healer and VROOOOOM
@@benjaminroe311ify she's good for survivablity but not damage. So she's going to breeze through sim universe but, struggles a lot in memory of chaos. Since that gamemode has limited turns and basically a dps check. If you don't have bailu, you're forced to play Natasha and double physical on a team is not ideal for elemental coverage.
@@JA.4 She's very good for damage. But I get what you are saying about Memory of Chaos as she does damage differently as the other team needs to take many turn for her to melt them. So yeah not great for the "beat before X number of terms stars" etc.
She was my first five star, until now she is incredible(level 41) i use her with March Bailu and seele, but i want to switch seele, because of the other abyss team

Great guide! My problem with her right now is trying to get a good light cone on her, or at least a temporary one. No Secret Vow or Fall of Aeon (yet). I am pretty much just saving up for her light cone at this point and just using a 3 star light cone. It is too expensive to level anything else, since all of the destruction light cone doesn't seem very good (even Fall of Aeon).
what made me enjoy Clara's presence as much as her gameplay is Svarog being both overprotective and overkill Also her ult visually doesn't do jack, it's just Svarog covering Clara but goddamn it's my top2 favorite ult animation, he does give the feeling of overprotection and overkill
She looks real fun! My guaranteed 5* was Himeko, she seems to be the one people want the least but she's my support still just so people can experience the infinite "YOU WONT GET AWAY" and "Time to twirl!" Combo lol

Clara walks barefoot because she actually feels more uncomfortable wearing footgear rather than not wearing any, because she always sprains her ankle. So she will be walking barefoot until she gets enough practice with wearing shoes.
Clara with Ting Yun in AOE is nearly comparable to my Seele with Bronya combo in single/AOE fights, which says A LOT about her value for an account. And she's so precious!!!!

I've been wanting to try out a team that consist of Clara + March + Herta + Healer/Buffer/Debuffer. It's looks like so much fun when 1 enemy attacks Clara and get 3 counters back, but I don't have enough resource to build Herta, LoL

I got clara from my newbie banner, I was disappointed at first, but she has served me well, carried me through SU 3 and 5, she is also my support and actually gets picked pretty often.

Clara is pretty decent with Mono Physical if you have Silver Wolf. Mono Physical team is SW herself, Clara, Sushang and Natasha. Sushang and Clara can do great damage and Natasha can help save your DPS characters from an inevitable death. So can manipulate and implant physical weakness and hope it’s not a quantum since SW is quantum herself

In addition to march, lynx also helps funnel the aggro to her right? And I run tingyun for damage buff and that juicy energy Regen. Clara, march, lynx, and tingyun is my current team.
I can see why CN rank Clara low right now, pretty much her few good supports have anti-synergies (March and Asta's ults for example) but as the roster deepens she could head back up the tier list.
Actually on the most recent tier list they've raised her quite a bit. The first lists were mostly based on funneling Selle for one team of 4. In that kind of team, Clara doesn't work. But she actually has great synergy with Yanqing and can function amazingly as a Tank+Damage dealer even in the current roster.
Clara is one of the best units in the game... Her and March and either Bailu or Natasha can 3 man tons of content... It's nuts. Anyone that has her at B-tier or C-tier is ignorant. She's nuts... my biggest hits so far are 50k total AOE, but my gear is mostly level 9 only and not optimal. She will be doing 100k hits after she is all built... Nutty damage and tanky at the same time.
I didn’t like her as much still I started using her as a carry with 3 supports and now she js my favorite character. Running her currently with March, Pela, and Natasha and she is getting hit 99% of the time and slapping back for a lot of consistent damage!

Clara wanter and a few days ago became a Clara haver :-) I love counter units and the possebility to Solo stages. She was the reason i finally could beat SU World 6. have a decent set for her but relic farming has to wait until much later. First i want to raise two teams. One around Clara / One around Seele
I landed here after going slightly mental over losing my banner 80pity to clara for the new guy.. and started to use her and its going well, hit Bailu from my 50pulls and atm im rolling with Clara, Bailu, March and Tingyun.. but i feel lowkey insecure about this setup as a team cuz to max out on claras dmg i use up 3 slots and got a lower elemental cover..
Literally one of the best characters,can be the main DPS and team tank at the same time, literally an op character. Just get a healer shield and boost attack and defense and it's a straight meta
I got Clara's weapon on the standard banner last night so i EXTRA need her (past my number one need, which is getting more of her and Svarog being adorable)
She is so amazing. I wish I had that light cone. I run her with just the Free one from Herta's shop and she's amazing even with that. But to get healing from it as well would be lights out. You HAVE to choose her as your 300 pull if you haven't got her by then...

Got like 3 5* in HSR and one of them is Clara, always in the party, but not easy to balance, despite having very simple mechanics. PS: Svarog counter attack is almost always on the elemental weakness of the enemy that helps a lot.
Clara's awesome, but has one problem - when enemies do the focus target skill not on Clara, Clara's DPS drops significantly, and March is stuck trying to shield someone else. I struggled so much in those fights, since my team was built entirely around Clara doing damage.

I recently started putting together a team of Clara, March, Natasha and Topaz. It's the ultimate counter team. When shielded by March, Clara will get an extremely high aggro value, plus when she gets hit it will proc both Svarog and March's counter. Now March will not necessarily do a ton of damage, but it adds up. Plus if it's the enemy marked by Topaz, then Numby will follow, too, as they will have gotten their action advanced by 100% with those two follow-ups, for a grand total of 3 attacks in response to a single enemy attack. And Natasha is an excellent single target healer for Clara with a sustained heal that lasts multiple turns.
Clara is my MVP. If I don't know how a boss encounter will go during a story, SLOT CLARA. Like. I just came from finishing 2.1 and I built my team WRONG - GOD, that was absolutely moronic of me - in that I only had 2/4 as capable of breaking the toughness of the boss and my DPS breaker just died. But Huohuo is tough little healer, and we managed to outrun the Phase 2 assault by the boss while he just kept getting slapped by Svarog :D I think this was made before Lynx came out? Huohuo is my go-to healer, but I'll start experimenting slotting Lynixie with Clara. Belebog kids are so amazing :3 She works amazing with Aventurine, imo.

I love using Tingyun with Clara. All of her counters will proc the additional damage hit instead of it expiring after one hit with other characters.
im surprised she didnt mention tingyun as a synergy character for clara. Tingyun gives her faster ults and attack boosts

@@Nero-hm1gi I get what you mean. ‘Taunt’ is a turn-limit effect Skill. Increased aggro is weaker but is more consistently present for a while.
This one time I used Clara ultimate, and used March shield on Clara, and the enemy proceeded to destroy my tingyun smh

Don't sleep on Clara and bronya combo, those extra turns help Clara get energy much faster than waiting to be hit.

@@benjaminroe311ify she's good for survivablity but not damage. So she's going to breeze through sim universe but, struggles a lot in memory of chaos. Since that gamemode has limited turns and basically a dps check. If you don't have bailu, you're forced to play Natasha and double physical on a team is not ideal for elemental coverage.
@@JA.4 She's very good for damage. But I get what you are saying about Memory of Chaos as she does damage differently as the other team needs to take many turn for her to melt them. So yeah not great for the "beat before X number of terms stars" etc.
She was my first five star, until now she is incredible(level 41) i use her with March Bailu and seele, but i want to switch seele, because of the other abyss team

Great guide! My problem with her right now is trying to get a good light cone on her, or at least a temporary one. No Secret Vow or Fall of Aeon (yet). I am pretty much just saving up for her light cone at this point and just using a 3 star light cone. It is too expensive to level anything else, since all of the destruction light cone doesn't seem very good (even Fall of Aeon).
Assuming with f2p I'd go with Fall of Aeon personally. It's gonna be quite some time before you can buy Clara's signature from the shop

what made me enjoy Clara's presence as much as her gameplay is Svarog being both overprotective and overkill
Also her ult visually doesn't do jack, it's just Svarog covering Clara but goddamn it's my top2 favorite ult animation, he does give the feeling of overprotection and overkill
She looks real fun! My guaranteed 5* was Himeko, she seems to be the one people want the least but she's my support still just so people can experience the infinite "YOU WONT GET AWAY" and "Time to twirl!" Combo lol
i feel like himiko needs to built in a full aoe break the enemy style team that just isn't possible to make with current characters

I was really struggling if Clara, a character that is very slow, needed to have some SPD buff so she can do more DMG. But I just realized that is not necessary and your guide just enlighten my ideas for a better build for her. Awesome guide! 👏🏼👏🏼
Clara walks barefoot because she actually feels more uncomfortable wearing footgear rather than not wearing any, because she always sprains her ankle. So she will be walking barefoot until she gets enough practice with wearing shoes.

Clara with Ting Yun in AOE is nearly comparable to my Seele with Bronya combo in single/AOE fights, which says A LOT about her value for an account.

I've been wanting to try out a team that consist of Clara + March + Herta + Healer/Buffer/Debuffer. It's looks like so much fun when 1 enemy attacks Clara and get 3 counters back, but I don't have enough resource to build Herta, LoL

I got clara from my newbie banner, I was disappointed at first, but she has served me well, carried me through SU 3 and 5, she is also my support and actually gets picked pretty often.

Clara is pretty decent with Mono Physical if you have Silver Wolf. Mono Physical team is SW herself, Clara, Sushang and Natasha. Sushang and Clara can do great damage and Natasha can help save your DPS characters from an inevitable death. So can manipulate and implant physical weakness and hope it’s not a quantum since SW is quantum herself
I wish I had Fu Xuan, I could then do actually do full quantum team with Silver wolf

In addition to march, lynx also helps funnel the aggro to her right? And I run tingyun for damage buff and that juicy energy Regen.

I can see why CN rank Clara low right now, pretty much her few good supports have anti-synergies (March and Asta's ults for example) but as the roster deepens she could head back up the tier list.
Actually on the most recent tier list they've raised her quite a bit. The first lists were mostly based on funneling Selle for one team of 4. In that kind of team, Clara doesn't work. But she actually has great synergy with Yanqing and can function amazingly as a Tank+Damage dealer even in the current roster.
At E1 Clara + Asta ult has good damage potential.
Clara is one of the best units in the game... Her and March and either Bailu or Natasha can 3 man tons of content... It's nuts. Anyone that has her at B-tier or C-tier is ignorant. She's nuts... my biggest hits so far are 50k total AOE, but my gear is mostly level 9 only and not optimal. She will be doing 100k hits after she is all built... Nutty damage and tanky at the same time.
In the most recent cn tier list she is ranked as S. Well deserved honestly bc she is a great unit.

I didn’t like her as much still I started using her as a carry with 3 supports and now she js my favorite character. Running her currently with March, Pela, and Natasha and she is getting hit 99% of the time and slapping back for a lot of consistent damage!

Clara wanter and a few days ago became a Clara haver :-) I love counter units and the possebility to Solo stages. She was the reason i finally could beat SU World 6.

I landed here after going slightly mental over losing my banner 80pity to clara for the new guy.. and started to use her and its going well, hit Bailu from my 50pulls and atm im rolling with Clara, Bailu, March and Tingyun.. but i feel lowkey insecure about this setup as a team cuz to max out on claras dmg i use up 3 slots and got a lower elemental cover..

Literally one of the best characters,can be the main DPS and team tank at the same time, literally an op character. Just get a healer shield and boost attack and defense and it's a straight meta

I got Clara's weapon on the standard banner last night so i EXTRA need her (past my number one need, which is getting more of her and Svarog being adorable)
She is so amazing. I wish I had that light cone. I run her with just the Free one from Herta's shop and she's amazing even with that. But to get healing from it as well would be lights out. You HAVE to choose her as your 300 pull if you haven't got her by then...

Got like 3 5* in HSR and one of them is Clara, always in the party, but not easy to balance, despite having very simple mechanics. PS: Svarog counter attack is almost always on the elemental weakness of the enemy that helps a lot.

Clara's awesome, but has one problem - when enemies do the focus target skill not on Clara, Clara's DPS drops significantly, and March is stuck trying to shield someone else. I struggled so much in those fights, since my team was built entirely around Clara doing damage.
That's what I wish their was dmg reducer, that could just out aggro on whoever they want.

I recently started putting together a team of Clara, March, Natasha and Topaz. It's the ultimate counter team. When shielded by March, Clara will get an extremely high aggro value, plus when she gets hit it will proc both Svarog and March's counter. Now March will not necessarily do a ton of damage, but it adds up. Plus if it's the enemy marked by Topaz, then Numby will follow, too, as they will have gotten their action advanced by 100% with those two follow-ups, for a grand total of 3 attacks in response to a single enemy attack. And Natasha is an excellent single target healer for Clara with a sustained heal that lasts multiple turns.

Like. I just came from finishing 2.1 and I built my team WRONG - GOD, that was absolutely moronic of me - in that I only had 2/4 as capable of breaking the toughness of the boss and my DPS breaker just died. But Huohuo is tough little healer, and we managed to outrun the Phase 2 assault by the boss while he just kept getting slapped by Svarog :D
I think this was made before Lynx came out? Huohuo is my go-to healer, but I'll start experimenting slotting Lynixie with Clara. Belebog kids are so amazing :3
She works amazing with Aventurine, imo.
