- Me and my family including Sparky! Went flying with dan in the dc-3 for 3 hours. When we landed our left starter failed but we’re all fine nothing bad!
Go sub to Ethan he puts a lot of work into his videos so give him some support right here👇🏻
/ @ethancmorgan
I didn’t even know you were on that flight.
That’s not something you admit publicly Dan! I thought we’ve talked about this!
Those engines... Sounds like heaven!
👍☑️Time to take up a collection and buy that man a couple cans of yellow spray paint!
The man who shares my first name seems to know how to keep his aircraft in great visual condition in comparison. No idea about mechanical.
@@glennwatson i would bet a month of toothpicks the mechanical is as good if not better than the cosmetics on that Lockheed!
@@paratyshow Yeah, no doubt, I just realized my comment might have come off the wrong way. I just meant I'm not an aviation mechanic, so not something I can really comment on.
I believe the yellow is just vinyl.
Pretty cool footage once again J. Keep up the great work and of course thanks for bringing us along with you! 😁
That was a heck of a lot of BOOM for the starter going out at 7:56 ! Once I came back down in my computer chair I was glad to see you just had been turned into a toad! The older planes tend to worry me more for some reason but I'm not a pilot so I don't have to worry about it. I am curious though, since the engines were already running and not in need of being started on landing, I wonder why it couldn't have taxied back into its parking spot, unless the left engine quit running on landing?
It quit on landing and I didn’t plan anything I was gonna do the BOOOM for a joke but then I saw the engine quit and I thought woah that is like a perfect timing
You are doing a amazing job editing ! I really enjoy the timing and little things to make your videos fun!
Great Video. you are getting really good with your content, song writing skill needs a little improvement.........................:-)
Great stuff, Jacob! 👏👍
Jpilot…. How do I get one of those sweet shirts you had on the video with WEIRDO Dan???
You said 'numb nuts'... Did you learn that from me or Caddy Shack? LOL!!! Hopefully Senior~ Dweeb can get the DC-3 restored to active duty ASAP! Seeeeeeeeeaaaa YaaAaaaA
No I learned that for my dad that’s what he calls us 😂😝
Looks like it was a good time.
Fun times ……Sparky getting more flying time than me ……..
Is Dan your grandfather?? Greetings from Iceland, great videos, keep up the good work mate!
Soooo... a backward toad in a DC3? Did I get that right?
6:12 Jacob is that a c-47 on the ramp?
Yes
Did you refer to Ethan as Numb Nut? 😂
I thot I heard a Numb Nut! I did, I did hear a Numb Nut! 🤣🤣🤣
Yeah😂
Jacob you got lots of talents but song writing ain't one of them LOL
How’s it going man
@@jpilot12 👍☑️ miss you little dude!

Let’s see how smooth it is…. Let’s not and say we did 🤣🙄
I think it's neat that Glenn is working on a "SIC" DC-3 endorsement. Curious as to whether that might hint at things to come. I sure hope Dan was running a camera up front during that workout for a future episode. Glenn would surely be a well-qualified individual to give this type of instruction to.
The fact that you're having to crank an engine after landing might indicate that you were doing actual single-engine approaches. I've often wondered if you could actually taxi a DC-3 on one engine if necessary. I guess if Dan can't do it, it likely is not a good idea to try.
What is going-on with the ownership of this DC-3? It appears to have been bought by someone in Middletown, Delaware? Coop
How old is Sparky now?
