Awesome!!! That thing sounds rowdy! I like the Pirate theme!
First glimpse of the Lockheed. What is the diagnosis?

Enjoyed the video, looking forward to more.

@ nice fun plane . Lots of flying opportunities
👍✅ Good stuff Jacob, tks for still putting out videos👏
It’s Jacob but thanks!
@@jpilot12 sorry little dude, when I don't see your stuff often I forget 😂and the C is close to the B which is next to the N, thats my story and Im sticking to it!
Love the young kid j pilot playing the old Rock.
Congrats on a successful upgrade! That's one pretty Super Cub 🏴☠ (Happy Birthday, Dad!)
The nav lights are reversed, that is odd.
One of the coolest twin engine prop aircraft ever built. Definitely the best looking!
Nice to see you post new content! Hope you get your j3 done for this coming summer. Any news or progress on the lockheed ?
Cool video!
That's why I prefer Taylor craft. Visibility
Back in 1965 the first plane I had the controls of when 15 you was a Beech Super H18 Magnificent machine.
its so good to see you on here. your voice is a bit deeper. you always point out small things that others overlook
wow, that mooney guy is nuts
I hope someday you’ll be flying the Electra with your pop!
Great vid. Have fun
That was a great gathering of awesome aircraft, right until that clown started doing low passes. I don’t care if he thinks he is good, it’s the people and the airplanes on the ground I care about. Why does there always have to be one that needs the attention!! When will people realise that nobody is impressed, you can’t beat the low level record, only equal it, and possibly kill innocent bystanders at the same time. That’s why air shows have crowd lines!!
Young man... I am impressed by your knowledge and LOVE of airplanes, including the J-3 Cub! I'm an old fart and young people like you are the next generation of aviation buffs and pilots! Great job!
Where in SC is this airstrip? I can tell it's on the coast.
@@billkea7224 don’t remember lol
If you depart runway 05 at KNBC (Beaufort MCAS) and fly runway heading, it is exactly 3NM from the end of the runway right across the sound.
That was a pretty alright upload, I guess.. especially for Jacob. lol Happy new year bro cool stuff!
Great video, but those low passes by that guy were rather scary and uncomfortable. Happy New Year Jacob! What was the radial aircraft with checkers underneath, at first I thought T-6 but the tail was wrong. By the way, do you guys still have that lovely radial Cessna C165 that you picked up in an older video?
@@davehomewood4676 yes I know they were scary for us lol. Yes we have the 165 still and I have no clue what that plane was, I couldn’t figure it out I thought it was a t6 but like you said the tail was wrong
@@jpilot12 Thanks Jacob. I hope you can do a video on the Cessna sometime.
@@jpilot12 Oh I just had another look, and it is a Vultee BT-13A Valiant. They made the Aichi D3A Val replicas for Tora, Tora, Tora out of BT-13s.
@ thanks for telling me!
Nice video thank you for sharing
I have lots of time in the Beech 18. Take off and landing took undivided attention. Once in the air, it flew just like a typical Beechcraft. I also flew the Beech 18 with PT-6 engines and a tail wheel. I used to race 727's into LAX with it. Lots of fun.
Near Challis ID., there used to be a private strip called Mosquito Flats, a former Vietnam era chopper pilot flew his Beech 18 into it, for some years, as he was one of the owners. He had TWO prosthetic legs (I don't know if he lost them in 'Nam, never asked) and I was selling some solar gear to his brother, who knew I flew. When he mentioned the old strip and his now deceased brother flying in there, I told him I'd be happy to deliver the gear just to check it out. He told me is was overgrown, for years, but I was welcome to give it a shot. The approach was tight, thru some canyons, but easy enough for my RANS S-7, but man I was even more impressed to think of flying a Twin anything in there, with store bought legs! I landed it, what was left of it was enough, but i think of that every time I see anything about a Beech 18.
Looks like the former gov's brothers place. Took a couple of Edgar Cato's planes there for that event some years back for the NY Day deal. The thing that scared the heck out of me was so many young kids running around close to turning props. Lefty Gardner's son had a fancy helo like that there that year,,, same one ?
Is that DG in the left seat? Nice to see your Dad flying again! The Big Howard is cool! So are all the J-3’s
@@Iflyagrasshopper that’s my dad lol
@@jpilot12sorry I apologize to your dad. Is Dan in the right seat?
@ also no lol, that’s just one of our freinds
Happy New Year!
Happy New Year. You need to try and do more videos we enjoy your adventures.
That was quite a gathering at that grass strip. Nice to see you posting again, wish it would happen more often. I hope everything in your life is going to suit you.
Glad y'all had a great New Year and got to fly somewhere together! As always thanks for taking the time to film and bring us along with you Jacob. I hope you and your family have a very blessed 2025!
Hey Jacob, wishing you a blessed 2025 from Durban, South Africa ! 😎
Beautiful Plane buddy... Good to see you and your Dad....😊
👍✅😎little dude, good to see you and Jackson again. Tks for the vídeo!
There was one at Andrau Airpark KAAP HTX that I would stop and stare at every time I was out there.Gorgeous!
Beautiful both, people and airplane.
Does this plane have the General motors X-250? I'm trying to do some research on that engine, it was a very rare, supercharged 2 stroke radial engine. Thanks, cool video btw!
@@alfredo42o no, it’s not. It would be cool if it was! Thanks for watching
@jpilot12 this video of the plane flying likely wouldn't exist if it was equipped with that engine lol, I doubt it'd still be running and airworthy! Haha thanks for the reply.
@@alfredo42o it’s a 165 warner engine.
What a beautiful airplane. The first airplane ride I ever had was in a Beechceft 18. Around the mid 1950's. The pilot was our next door neighbor and he flew the corporate Beech 18 mostly between San Francisco and Fort Bragg, CA . The plane's owner was the Union Lumber Company of Fort Bragg, CA, which was ultimately bought by Boise Cascade in the late 60's. In my old age I often wonder what became of that great Beech 18 our neighbor Walt Whiteman piloted..
Hey, Jacob. Thanks for stopping by and checking out my bird and asking questions about what we do. Thank you again for letting me check out the inside of the Beach 18! I hope we cross paths again.
