  • The fish were so fired up that we were catching them on bare jig heads. Watch towards the end where I talk about how to get a pinfish down to the bottom with a knocker rig. We have a new website www.tampabayfishingchannel.com/ so go check it out and subscribe for some deals on our upcoming products!

      @@droseeats9004 yes there is. There is a launch called piney point that is right next to Port Manatee. You can launch your kayak right there and be in the port manatee channel within a couple of minutes.

  • @Tyler-kw9ce

    So if you bump your tackle up a bit how many bites do you think your missing? If you get 10 bites and lose five verses getting maybe 5 or 7 bites and landing most of them. It would make sense to step it up. I'd be using 30/30 braid fluoro minimum. When I fish out of hudson I use an accurate tern 400 on a valiant M rod 50lb to 50 fluoro and stop plenty of big gags and RS.

    • @TampaBayFishingChannel
      @TampaBayFishingChannel  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We have bumped up our tackle and I can tell you by doing this multiple times we get bit 10 to 1 on the lighter gear if not more than that. We have done a side by side comparison on the water and proven time and time again that we get way more bites on lighter. Plus we love the light gear action. Now do we step it up, yes a few times when the big boys are slamming it we will try to gear up just a little bit.
