How about an approach disc scramble on a shorter course? The 2 of you take your favorite 1-4 speed putters and take on a not super-long course, and see how many birdie opportunities you get, given your arm speed.
These month long pieces are cool. Would love to see more videos like this - Discraft, L64, DD, Kastaplast, Discmania or maybe more interesting, some of the smaller companies like RPM, Daredevil, etc.
You really should check out the Croc. It doesn't have a bead like a Gator or the bulky rim like a caiman. Looks exactly like an Ultra actually. Similar shape to a Pyro but a little more blunt. Very overstabe. I throw a Toro and a Firbird and it fits perfectly in-between. Thanks for the content, best of luck out there!
I absolutely loved this series, man! Favorite DG content of the year, for real. You're really good at picking up on the differences and choosing the right discs and slots for your bag. So glad you got the chance to try out some of those incredible innova made molds, especially in that money range 6-11 speed. Although I must agree, I love the Insanity because it's one of the best S-flight discs. Surprised you don't like the Volt for forehands, I love it for my teebird slot, and especially the flat profile for flicks. Maybe try plasma Volt to distinguish it from the Brodbird?
Question for the Q&A: What disc/mold/run from Innova did you really want to try but could not get your hands on? Also, what mold / slot do you think Innova lacks in their behemoth of a lineup? Much love man, keep doing you. Your bag setup works for you, and you're totally right to stick to your guns. You put yourself out there for this challenge and opened yourself up for a lot of input from random folks on the internet - that alone is admirable. I think I might have to look into the Range after hearing your brief review of it!
I was a hardcore Innova only guy for years. Never found a putter I was happy. Found some mids that were okay. Tried MVP last year and holy Moses, they have the best feeling putters and mids but their distance drivers are sub par in my opinion. I do like some of MVPs fairways but have not been totally convinced by them yet. Right now I have MVP/axiom/streamline putters and mids and my game has improved immensely. Still bag almost exclusively Innova fairways and drivers with the exception of the proton simon Tesla.
The ultra yessir! Ironically I found a luster invader in used today and traded one for one my glow proxy. Only because that proxy has some and I didn’t like it and I have a soft neutron proxy that feels money just in case anyways
Let me know how you like it man. I was carving it up with it, but sometimes you just get some silly idea in your head after a misthrow and takes a bit to get it back to normal!
@ I have one of the new discmania s line P3x’s in the silver color. I say silver because those are the flattest and most torque resistant (annoying specific color I know). Great throw you can yam it hyzer to turn. The hand feel of invader reminds me of that but feels like a larger diameter. I’ll let you know. Patiently waiting for weather not to be raining at 26 degrees simultaneously. What’s tricky about innova I think is like you said everything is so run specific, or PFN, etc. can’t blame them it’s way superior plastic.
One other thing I wanted to add is that I put twith PA 3’s and those are really good low profile beaded throwers. Fun to cycle and incredibly consistent putters. Big change from marvels but I’m shocked by consistency over the glide helping my game.
Agree!! I used to be a big pyro guy, but the metal flake C turned me into an MD5 head ... currently bagging the S-line because it's a little more stable
Might want to say the name of the disc more while talking about them. There where a few were I never heard the name, I just heard “this disc” over and over
What he REALLY should try is a Halo Star Katana. Gregg Barsby has a tour-series one right now that could be quite the bomber in the hands of Blitz. The black ones should be the most stable.
The thumbnails claiming to be throwing innova discs drew me in, but the discs you choose to test out exclude so many staple discs of their lineup. To say you tested innova discs is less apt than to say you threw some of the molds that get cranked out by innova. I get that it would be expensive to have done this right, but it would have been better to choose a category of disc (ie fairway/approach/driver) and take this much time to explore the molds. You didnt even explore all the variations of rocs and aviars, nor rhyno/pig. Plus you know ppl want to see you throw destroyers (mcbeth/wysocki/AJ/SDS/pro/D/etc) this was not a series that has me interested to inquire in the future but hey, prove me wrong
I did throw aviars and rocs, and rhynos. There's a rhyno IN the frame of this video... I also spent about 500 bucks buying discs. I just excluded discs I immediately knew I wouldn't like, and that happened to include the discs you like!
@@BlitzDGyeah it’s really hard to try out all of the Innova lineup…huge catalog and then add the plastics and “money runs” it would cost a small fortune..best way would be to have locals let you try out things if possible but even then you would only get a sampling I bet but maybe would try some things you might like
guys what should clint and i film?
Bag swap challenge loser buys dinner
Get that man some old PFN flyers brod 😂
Maybe do like a weird disc round

innova has the best fairway lineup for sure
Distance drivers too imo. Just don't love their putters and mids personally!
@@BlitzDGTBF the roc, mako3, and wombat3 are all really nice. I bag a pyro too though for the OS.

Awesome serious and loved to see infinite get so much love!
Fireflies are probably innovas most underrated putters - Nate Sexton cloned the P2

Centurion for the win!
Nice video and series, really enjoyed following along and hearing your thoughts on the different discs. I was wondering do you still throw bergs?
I do, I talk about it at the end of this video!
@@BlitzDG Thanks! Completely missed it
Try the Drew Gibson color glow scepter if you can’t find the metal flake ones. Flat as fuck and super OS.
I use that same westide bag, it never stays standing. any tips? haha😅
Must be the same manufacturer. I got this from Gateway when I was on the team!
Yea miss remembered it is gateway haha! but still, it always falls over!
You need a MD5!

I actually love the MD5, just a little different slot than the ultra for me. Haven't gotten to try an S-line yet. Metal flake was amazing though.
How would a guy that doesn’t do social media contact you about buying that yorange Gator3 that is an exact match to my favorite Gator?

make it dx as well.

@ dang I didn’t even know that existed
I actually think someone might have given me one recently. I'll look around for it and maybe make a short!
@@Completelycorydiscgolf Yeah I was surprised they had them in stock. They look good!
You should do 30 days of MVP
Brother I don’t believe you are throwing 70 mph
Brother I’ve been radared at a distance comp. I assure you I am.

@@lincolnlasourd2410 Brother my entire channel is me throwing the tech disc.
