    Took the Tech Disc out again today and went to change the flight number and it was already on custom. Went and looked back at this video and they were actually set to 12 5 -.5 3 so they weren’t on undertaker numbers.

    This channel is the best bargain on TH-cam, in terms of words per minute. Bodanza is the only one that comes close.
    Great video - Techdisc should sponsor you, seriously.

    Yes, please make a video on forehand wobble

      Warning, there will still be some wobble, just not as much 😂

    Certainly a great tool to use if you want to learn more about your throw than what recording yourself will provide. It can be addicting, though, so give your fingers time to heal James! 😂
    It was a blast throwing with you and Kyle at the Mellow Disc Golf doubles tournament at the Bunker on Sunday! Keep up the great content! 🤟

      Great playing with you two as well. Hope to run into you at more events!

    Great video! Love this new technology. I also have been seeing more Tristan Tanners videos recently and been learning and loving them. Quick tips are better for me than 30 minute videos.

      Bringing it to Saturday league every time I go now. We all threw it today into that net by the parking lot.

    Love your content, but this very well may have been my fave (also the glow vids were great!)

      Thank you! This is definitely different than my normal stuff and I really enjoyed making it too. Glad it was one of your favorites!
      I have zero regrets getting one and have taken it to league twice and everyone seems to enjoy it too.

    Bro i just bought one last week. I'll email them to see if i can get you some post purchase credit. Keep it up.
    I tend to turf throws so the tech disc really helped me diagnose my launch angle problems.

      What were your stats for launch when you got it vs now?

    • @closetocanada5604
      @closetocanada5604 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@FlippyJamesDG still early.
      Nose 4-7
      Launch 4 or less
      Now nose 0-3
      Launch 5-8
      Still small sample size. Under 300 throws

    I feel like extra spin helps a little for distance, but the main things is it helps prevent discs from burning over, you can get a more drifty turn vs cut rollers..

    • @FlippyJamesDG
      @FlippyJamesDG  หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Hmmm didn’t think of it like that.

    great video, a tone of info, I would love to see some forehand TD as well the new Paid subscription that TD offers is an amazing slow-motion video with overlay metrics for the win no editing is needed maybe they can comp you a subscription

    • @FlippyJamesDG
      @FlippyJamesDG  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I’m going to take a little more time on my forehand until I make a video to give the best advice possible but I know it will happen down the road.
      I’ve been thinking of getting the subscription as much as I use this already. So handy to have all of that data and the throw in one spot plus they store it for me.

    Nice video! Some really good advice.
    What mold do you think is best, or most useful to get for the tech disc. Mid, fairway or distance?

    • @FlippyJamesDG
      @FlippyJamesDG  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you!! They suggest fairway and I think so too.

    I watched the political and Safelite ad... your boi got your back. Nose/Launch ratio is new to me, nice bit of info to ponder. This is a number nerd dream, I dig it. Yeah, I gotta get my hands on one.

      The safelight jingle is now in my head. I’m suffering with you!
      If you start focusing on the nose angle/launch more let me know how it turns out.

  • @davidm1990
    @davidm1990 12 วันที่ผ่านมา

    You should try turning the key for nose angle.

    • @FlippyJamesDG
      @FlippyJamesDG  12 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      There was one throw in here where I said I tried. Turning the key makes certain shots inconsistent for me.

  • @ViJt-oq5nq
    @ViJt-oq5nq หลายเดือนก่อน

    I wonder if It's best to get a standard nose down grip and manipulate launch for the shot with body tilt? maybe making whatever is most needed for your courses the most common.
    In FL we have very low ceilings n narrow gaps, a 10degree launch is gonna send all your shots into the trees lol.
    Here we have to learn to throw low n flat. Which does get tricky. When the pros came to play Champions Point, most of em were throwing low rollers for distance cuz they couldn't keep it under the southern oaks lol

    • @FlippyJamesDG
      @FlippyJamesDG  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I think that rule of thumb with the nose and launch is more for distance specifically I just didn’t explain that in this video 😅

    Don't even bother looking at the distance it's wildly innacruate - they should probably delete the feature. Just do the angles and speed ad when you can hit those you apply them to a real disc you are throwing on the course/field to see how far you throw.

    • @FlippyJamesDG
      @FlippyJamesDG  28 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      I’ve thrown it in a field where I knew I wouldn’t hurt it and it was within 3 feet of what it says.
