- Hey guys this is a new series I will be trying out. I need a better title for it though. The idea is I coach the player every monday and my commentary will have no filter. I thought of like "banter coaching" but I will leave it open for your opinions because I think there are better names out there. Enjoy the video!

I really wanted to chime in on the tc discussion: I recently started using the "select all town centers" hotkey and im absolutely loving it. Shift+h -> shift+a is all it takes me to que up to 5 vills (evenly distributed across tc's), all without having to look away from fights.

This is a great concept Hera! As awesome as it is watching you and the other pros face each other, this is more educational for us average players :) I believe that's exactly the reason why T90's Low Elo series are popular, but I love the fact that you also coach players without filter instead of simply commetating. Great job and hope to see more!
Big fan of this series already. I loved the beginner to 2k series, and any additional tips oriented/coaching gameplay is exactly what I want to see.

for the tcs i just took the "select all Towncenter" hotkey to 5 so i dont even need to seleckt them all there

I have a question about the light cav:
You said he should go pikes against the knights (makes sense) but doesnt that give the opponent the easy decision to go full scirms (against Chu ko no and pikes)? Or is it pikes first and behind that start building the stables?

Guys nowadays think all about microing with archers.
Man, think about macro. Daut is good because he is good on macro. Eco protect, know whats happening... all this is better than micro. Micro is the next step, not the first.

And Light Cav decision was the winner move. Nice decision... Red lost his late castleage moment but Dash could return easily.
More like, everybody goes instant for the knights... That happens so much, that lot of players making preventive spearmen (and then they try to fend of my archers with em)

I always cringe when people SAY xbow, the "x" takes just as long as "cross" they're both basically one syllable. It makes sense to press 1 key vs five, but doesn't it take more mental energy to say x than cross? ugh.

26:36 More than not thinking about trash units, he needs more knowledge about civs and the full scope of army counter options. You guys talked a lot about Spearmen and Pikemen vs Cavalry, but didn't mention Camel Riders. He made 2 stables; as Chinese, he could've made Camels alongside the Chu Ko Nu instead of making Light Cavalry.
Dash said he's thinking of only gold units and of "Knights and Archers", but he's not thinking about ALL possible gold units Chinese can make. Monks and Camels are very underutilised IMO.

Archer rush is such a risky strat for starters because its so easy to loose your archers to TC fire or scouts with low micro skills, and loose map control. But the satisfaction to successfully split under mongonal fire
This was frustrating to watch because Dash's elo is 100 points higher than mine even though I'm very confident I'm better than he is. Apparently if I started going all archers, I could be 1350 elo. Or maybe it was just a bad game from him.
I got some good tips from Hera though.
i have a question about the 3 lumbercamp strat is it good to make 3 of them on a neutral island asking for a friend?
You get a lot of value if that neutral island doesn't have a woodline.🤔

I'm about 1100 elo now and climbing up. This gives me hope I might actually be somewhere around 1300-1400 already. I had a one and a half year break from the game so it takes a little getting used to still.

I usually make 1 spear and keep it in my barracks if I'm going archers if my opponent hasn't scouted me yet.

I didn’t realize you could garrison inside a barracks but that makes sense. Thanks for the tip! I’ve never seen this done in a video.
@@seanknox7321 You set the gather point to the barracks thats creating the troops and they'll stay inside. Its a good way to safely mass units.
Unnoticed DE bug? Why does the spectating player list show Dash as #2 red while the score shows him as #2 blue??

it's so weird to me. I am about 1100 ELO and I would never make the mistakes in the early game that riot did here. and i would say neither do most of my oponents. so I guess I am just really bad in mid or late game or sth
I think they are playing on HD not DE. There's no way thats above 1000 on DE.

there is a hotkey for select all towncenters. i put it on a mouse hotkey, and then you just get in the habbit of pressing the hotkey and make vills. you dont even jump back to the economy

I don't think Hera wants to coach more people right now. As he said during his stream, the 4 players he is coaching were just here at the right place and the right time, and he doesn't want to coach more than 4. You can try to follow his twitch and hope he will be looking for more players to coach in the future...

Please, please don't take game play advice from Spirit of the Law. His channel can be technically informative and serves as entertainment value, but it doesn't play out in games.
Someone like Hera is the *ideal* person to learn game timing from. I've also found that TheViper, while mostly a troll streamer (again, great entertainment, but not much valuable information to be gained), will also clue you in to how the meta is adjusting, especially after patch releases. If you see him fall in love with a new unit or civ, call a unit broken, etc. that's a non-so-subtle hint that it can give you a big advantage in games.
I dont think its worthy earlier than in imp and before 80 vills.

SotL actually said handcart mid 40 villagers is the break even point.
IIRC, he found that you should get wheelbarrow at around ~38 vills and handcart at around ~80.
