    I totally agree that the long play with affiliate marketing is way more profitable and sustainable. Content + stories + email + multimedia + offer.

    This video is a sixth example of how to present an affiliate link... An excellent example of how to slip into an affiliates sale, well done.

    From my observations, the world's most successful people are those who focus on the things within their control. Focusing on growing your email list makes sense to me, because it gives you more control than running ads or depending on online content. You may have some control with social media and paid traffic, but when the rules change you will wish you focused more on growing your circle of control.
    Happy 4th of July Miles

      I think some of the happiest people int he world have that trait, too... Focus on what we can control and let everything else be.

    That's what I've begun doing, creating advertorials and then using the PCC to direct traffic to the article, because of all the warnings I've received from others that direct linking is forbidden on Facebook, and I've just discovered they flag bitly links as spam also. I learned the hard way on google. I made a commission on a sale for a loan company, but they shut down my personal account a day later for linking people directly to the affiliate product. I like the storytelling because writing based on experiences helps me to avoid false advertising.

    • @MilesB
      @MilesB  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      the next step I would say is to grow your own email list. That way you can market to them multiple times instead of just one shot with an advertorial. Sounds like you're making progress… Good job!

    Hi Miles,
    I like how you do your content marketing videos and how you break down all the numbers for us. Would you mind creating a video that highlights how those content marketing numbers have made an impact on your affiliate commissions?

    • @MilesB
      @MilesB  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Every dollar I've ever made in affiliate commissions from this brand is derived from the content marketing videos.even the videos that don't directly drive income, indirectly drive the trust factor, which indirectly drives income in the future. So in effect all of my content is the result of all of my income

    Correct me if I'm wrong, but building an email list, and creating that asset so to speak, is predicated on having the ability to track sales conversions with pixels? If I can't see who does and doesn't buy from the product provider, then building a list seems superfluous?

    another great video from you miles. it adds more detail little by little actually before I implement the soi and barrier to opt in by andre. but im still kinda confused on how i am going to implement this one successfully.
    this is basically my framework
    -fb ads
    -opt in &
    -Autoresponder madness.
    I do not know if i will be doing this right.
    i will run conversion campaign optimize for leads then my landing page is
    video #1 (30 minutes long)
    -mindset of successful people
    -lucrative products esp. ebook and training courses.
    -stories of 2 millionaire people in our affiliate program tells how they're doing it
    and then option to continue to
    video #2 (30 minutes long)
    - 3 questions you need to answer to become successful in online business that is :
    WHO - who are the people you want to serve?
    WHERE- where to find them &
    WHAT- what solutions can you provide to solve their problem.
    - another stories of 3 millionaires in our affiliate program on how they're doing it.
    and now the barrier to opt in
    right after they opt in, ill send them video #3 in their email which is the sales video how can we help them, story of the company helping aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners to start a profitable businesa online and finally encourage them to enroll in our training courses.
    - Am I going to implement this right if Im going to use this framework?
    - I am aware that my leads will drop but my sales conversion will i dont know probably increase because my leads are hypertargetted because theyve gone through video #1 and video #2 series before opting in to see more in the final video which ill be sending in their email video #3 the sales video.
    hmm 😕💡

      with SOI you are essentially just writing a multipage letter instead of a one page opt-in or sales page.

    • @jrm8206
      @jrm8206 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Because their funnel is tested and has multiple upsells (A++ storytelling). Only products with long cookie duration (365 days).
      But I see your point, hehe :o)

    • @MilesB
      @MilesB  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Why wouldn't they just be paying for the ads then?
      they are clearly trying to move the risk of paid advertisement onto your shoulders for a reason. What that reason is, I don't know… But it is for a reason.

    • @MilesB
      @MilesB  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Considering you can print anything you want on the coffee mug or T-shirt… There is literally an infinite opportunity to tell stories. Not about the shirt, it's not about the mug.

    Email marketing is a strong method, however it's only one of several that works. I've seen conversions from other sources do equal or better conversions. Whatever works for your business and how to reach your audience is the one you should focus on, imo.

    3 important things to keep in mind when you're trying to tell a story in your blog post, social post, emails or videos, etc.
    1. Start with an impact. Watch any Marvel/DC or any good movies. It starts with an action. BOOM!! 💣💣💣
    2. Always keep your audience curious at the end. For example, remember the moment when Game Of Thrones ends at season 5. Jon Snow died.
    It was the most trending thing in the world.
    Your audience/your list should be like "What happens next?" 😯😯😯
    3. Write a lot of stories. Like Mike said at 13:39. "Give yourself 90 days, write a story for the next 90 days. Every day." ✍✍✍

    • @MilesB

    what can someone do when my emails being sent to Gmail users lands in the "Promotion" tab instead of the "Primary" tab? i'm seeing a huge drop in open rates because of this in my list

    • @MilesB
      @MilesB  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I'll be putting a video together on this soon… But just keep sending yourself test emails and keep testing this subject line and the content you're writing in the emails. You should have a "spam score" ranking from your email service provider. Also, are you using aWeber?

    • @npennpapi4u
      @npennpapi4u 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Miles Beckler can't wait! I'm using get response with my own email domain. And I do test messages, but the same emails I test out switch back and forth between being sent to the primary or promotions

    • @MilesB
      @MilesB  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Are you promoting 'make money online' offers?

    • @npennpapi4u
      @npennpapi4u 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Miles Beckler um no. It's a weighloss products. But the email is structured and written in a non selling way. With only 1 link attached, and 1 image only. And it's still being sent to the promotions tab. Even value emails in which I include no links , gets sent back and forth between the two tabs

    • @MilesB
      @MilesB  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Images are tough, I'd remove the image.
      Some of the words you are using are triggering Gmail's filters or the domain/email address has been tagged by Google as spam by other peoples' clicking the "report as spam" button upon receipt
