I love how Dean's all tearing into Castiel like he would anyone else, but then
"You should show me some respect. I dragged you out of hell, I can throw you back in" boy do you feel how out of your depth you are.
It is a different vibe, but I love season 4 and 5, my favourite seasons. And it's just starting. You've got so much to look forward to
For real! Seasons 4 and 5 are my favourite seasons too. Lost count how many times I've watched them so far. They did a great job
The actress playing Ruby is Genevieve Padalecki.. she is Jared Padalecki’s wife. They met when she joined the cast for this season and fell in love. They are still married and they have 3 kids together. 🥰❤️
God I love their story. And that it got to be included in the show 😅

I'm pretty sure it was the next actress to play Meg that passed away... let me check that. *Nope, the original died of Leukemia. The actress that eventually takes over for her is currently battling MS, though.
So many couples first met on the Supernatural Set. Sam and Ruby is just one example, there are other people in future season's too.
This season is much deeper, much crazier. And I am so here for it!

Great episode!!! Love Bobby! Still getting used to the new Ruby. Castiel's line "You should show me some respect" still gives me goosebumps and is one of my favorite lines of the series.
Yeah! Another SUPERNATURAL reaction! Season 4 has some great episodes! Castiel really put Dean in his place. The first rule of hunting is you can't save everyone. Great episode & reaction! 💙💛 and GO LIONS!!

Originally when they started the series they said that they wouldn't do Angel's and God etc. Because with it being an American series, let's just say there's alot of "over-religous" people out there. But I think it was a good move for the show and it raises the stakes, as you will see for yourself, and you will see why "Cas" quickly became a fan favourite.

I overall quite liked this episode.
I like how we gradually learn more about what is going on. In the previous episode we learned that the angels had "work" for Dean, this episode we learn what is at stake; the Devil himself might break free if the demons break the Seals.
And Dean raises another good question; where is God in all this?
I really like the Seals as a device. They can be what the writers want them to be, the stakes are high for each one, and our protagonists can still believably fail at them (preventing the "of course they'll win"). They function much like a "monster of the week" with innocent lives at stake, but with relevance for the season plotline, which I think works well.
fun fact, the book of revelations is the part of the bible that depicts the apocalypse, and we just learned angels are on earth for the first time since, who knows. BIG things afoot!!

yes, as the show goes on you get less ""monster of the week" and deeper into the characters. misha collins, castiel, thought cass should have a deeper voice so tjat,s hjpow he played the character. He said it messed up his throat.
