Great interview! I grew up listening to these ladies... I had never heard her say she wanted to end it all when she was 17 yrs old... So happy that she is still here with us... God had/has a wonderful plan for her life... Like she said, death is a crazy thing to deal with... It's so final! No more nothing after we loose our loved ones and especially our mothers/father's... My momma and my dad have been gone almost 12 yrs now this coming year and you still miss them ALWAYS... Waves of saddens still come ... You cry, then you keep going... I couldn't look at their pictures for years after they had passed... Denial I suppose...not knowing how to grieve, not knowing how to handle that kind of pain... Death of a parent/loved one does something to us that we still can't wrap our heads around.... We hurt so much when it happens and at that very moment, you want them back... We want the world to stop and grieve with you ...when you see life continues ( and it has to ) you kinda get mad... Or at least I did... Your screaming in ur head, don't you know how much I'm hurting right now..??!!! ... No amount of comfort helps at that moment.... Of course for people like the Judd's, it is different in a way because they were loved by so many people over the years, in a way, much of the world did stop and collectively grieve with this family... I've always loved listening to her talk and of course sing... she's so relatable... down to earth kind of person... If we learn to lean on God ( I have not always done that ) but He absolutely helps us put one foot in front of the other, when we have nothing left to give ... Thank you for sharing this with us... Life is strange!! No doubt about it.... Thru all the pain and suffering, God helps us find our way... Amen! God bless you and God bless the Judd family... Thanks again! 💜🥰.. PS:more of you and her just talking!! Loved it!! 😊

I love the light shining through the window touching Wy's left shoulder. It was her mom there in spirit.

Everything she’s saying I 100 percent understand - just two days before Naomi died my grandma died and then just 8 days before the 1 year death anniversary of my grandma her husband passed away - it has been so hard for me - on top of that my sister is off at college and I have just decided what my next moves are my future - I am currently at community college but am transferring to a 4 year school in the fall - Wy inspires me to show up and show out and to get it no matter what !

The clouds thing is so weird - I’ve experienced it before - in fact recently I was out running and it was a gorgeous day , about 75 degrees out - it felt like spring outside - I was so filled with joy and just overall happy - all of a sudden I look up in the sky and see a darker cloud with a ray of sun shinning down upon the earth and then the whole sky started going dark and I began to feel sad - I knew that my grandparents who I lost a year apart from each other were looking down on me but all I could think is how much I missed them , I was very close to both of them and not just because we live hour away from them but because of how much they loved me - they were excited about everything I did - they both died in the spring - my grandma in late April 2022 and my grandpa in late April 2023 so associate warm weather with spring which to me is now a sadder time of year for me than it used to be - I can’t wait until April is over - I am not looking forward to all the hurt and pain that comes with this coming month for me but I will try to get through it and be strong for my dad and his family !

Naomi said in an interview that she was not sure if The Judds would become successful. She was doing her best to keep Wynonna "out of juvie" (juvenile detention) Lol. Music kept Wynonna focused, and gave her some structure.

I think wyonna was always depressed because her mother was very depressing and I think that her problem all those years was her mother even tho her mother pushed her to sing .my mother was mentally ill too and I know how it will affect a child

If it were not for her Mother she’d still be singing on the porch barefoot. She should have treated her Mother better. Her personality was more than half of the show. Then she was just ran off & left. She died of a broken heart as much as anything. I felt so very sorry for her.

The diabetes drug that all the celebrities are taking now definitely works! I wish I could afford it, but it’s thousands of dollars a month, which is pocket change to them. They’re all getting skinny now.
