I fall between the cracks because I have more than one disability.
My blind friends can’t accommodate my wheelchair, and I’ve yet to find friends in wheelchairs that can overcome my blindness.
Before the ‘rona I regularly took part in acoustic air rifle shooting, and curling; and then windsurfing, sailing, paddle sports and swimming whenever I got the chance.
Currently I am restricted to ‘walks’ on my local cycle track but hope things open back up again soon.
    Billie.

Hope you have been able to get back into life again mate. I'm a wheelie and I have blind friends, is it tricky yes but its also hilarious. I hope you meet your people.

Adam's leg ends about 6 inches above his ankle. Which makes that a foot and a half. Bazinga!

Another brilliant interview. Two of the greatest powers for taking the dis out of disability. Such powerful positive role models for anyone who's had to try a little harder.

Adam Hills' "Last Leg" in Britain with Josh Widdicombe and Adam Brooker was a hoot and "Spicks & Specks" here in Australia with Myf Warhurst and Alan Brough, I'll look forward to its return on 18th April.

Ha, yeah, it's like you need to be all positive or all consuming frustration. Gotta admit I've been in survival mode for quite a while, go in and out of it, which is another thing that I would love to talk about publicly. I write about ups and downs, but in the concept that they are abnormal. I would love to say - dudes - this is what happens. It's not all good and it's not all bad. It can be cycles of hopelessness and joys.

Love that concept of a dinner guest just turning up, so welcome them and let them know who else is here. (Vs not knowing anything in a room full of strangers)

Could keep writing, but, thank you both. Just talking. Being honest. Sharing feelings. Cheers.

Adam Hills is slightly less funny than terminal cancer.
