    Nice video,, I have to do the same for my 84 300sd, I have the parts sitting here, but I'm busy redoing my a/c system currently

      It's a pretty simple job just make sure you buy that puller that I showed you in the video. Otherwise you won't be able to get the old bearing off

      Pretty easy job if you have the puller not sure how you would do it otherwise.

    I've always been curious, does anyone know what the colored stripes on the driveshaft mean?

      I don't know exactly but if I'm just guessing those are the marks made by the factory during the different quality control stages. One of the marks may mean balancing is complete. The other marks may mean the bolts were torqued on the front and rear flex plates. That's only a guess but I'm sure it has something to do with quality control.
