    Purchased this trigger. It works as said and feels great. This paired with the spring kit he offers (not the PRP) makes for a crisp break, & lighter shorter pull. Would recommend to others!

    Just installed needed a little smoothing out for my specific xds but fit is AMAZING with the prp spring set (installed before I purchased) this is an amazing trigger on my absolutely favorite single stack 9mm take up is extremely minimal 0 overtravel crisp break 110% recommend this trigger to anyone who owns an xds!!!

      I just got an XDS .45 same as on the table 3.3 stock everything though. There's a little a little creep in the trigger as you pull to fire,so in your opinion the Einer trigger upgrade would take care of that? I could switch to a Ruger sr9c but I love the XDS.

      Make sure the grip safety is functioning. If you don't have it just right it will fire without the grip safety engaged.

    Installed on the xds mod 2 45 and have to squeeze trigger with two hands to get striker to fire. There must be a slight difference on the mod 2s. Have to revert back to original.

    • @rockman09022
      @rockman09022 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Having same issue as above, on XDS mod 2.0 9mm where it's a 50 pound trigger pull and striker doesn't drop until trigger is dead smashed against the frame.

    • @ronaldholley6070
      @ronaldholley6070 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    • @juenbuggs
      @juenbuggs 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Same issue. Just installed tonight on my XDs 45 pre Mod 2 with the recall done. It went in easy except for that grip safety arm and spring. Once I figured out where the arm went everything went smooth. There is an annoying light snap when the trigger safety slides by and then you squeeze until you finger goes numb and it eventually breaks. My super long creep however, is gone! But yes 50lb pull!

    • @michaelalfeo4185
      @michaelalfeo4185 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    After removing the lower parts from the frame to get my gun cerakoted I put everything back together. Now when I hit the mag release the button stays to the side I push it to. Not allowing me to reseat the next mag. Any advice on what I did wrong?

    • @GallowayPrecision
      @GallowayPrecision  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Probably just a build up of the Cerakote in the mag release channel. Take out the release and sand all the Cerakote out with 240 grit sandpaper, that should do the trick.

    Installed this trigger on my XDs Mod.2 along with your spring kit. Trigger is not breaking until it’s kitting the back of the trigger frame. Don’t know what’s going on with this but definitely hard to shoot with the break at that point.

    my sear spring fits into the slot on the sear but everytime i compress the spring into shape the L side slips out of the slot everytime because its not fully flush but i see on this video you don't have the issue nor you do you have to pinch it into place. i dont understand why.

    • @GallowayPrecision
      @GallowayPrecision  6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The Delta Point Pro is too big for the slide, but if you have the original Delta Point it is doable. Though honestly the Shield Sights RMS/RMSc or a JPoint would be better. We mill deep enough for them to co witness the stock iron sights.

    I bought one and it wouldn't even fit in the trigger retainer. 3d printed and wast cleaned up on the inside. Safety was very stiff. Returned. I feel the one in this video was pre fitted before the filming. Rather dissapointed as Galloway is known for quality products.

  • @ActionBob

    1 Remove the Takedown lever
    2 Remove the Trigger Pivot Pin
    3 Remove the locking block Pin
    4 Remove the locking block
    5 Gently lift the trigger from the well
    6 Press the Locking block pin back in to keep trigger lever elevated.
    7 Press out trigger pin
    8 Press the Einar trigger pin to depth and place the trigger bar onto it
    9 Press Einar trigger pin home (evenly in the middle of the trigger)
    R remove the locking block pin you were using to keep the trigger arm up and guide the trigger into the trigger well.
    Now reverse the assembly order from step 5 -> 1
    This ensures the grip saftey assembly remains intact and has no assembly mistakes, this is within the swing arc of the trigger arm without torque (can be done with fingertips) This installation process is not the one advised in the video or endorsed by GallowayPrecision, I was installing the trigger and saw this solution as superior.
