A: I was born in Pakistan but then moved to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia when I was only 9 months old. Have been raised and lived there all my pre-married life.
Q:Why do you mention Sweden in your videos?
A: I moved to Sweden after marriage. Lived there for 7 years, then moved back to Saudi Arabia in 2018.
Q: What is your education?
A: I have done a four year honours program in Information Technology and Computing.
Q: Who’s in your family?
A: I have been married to Naveed for 7 years. We have two sons - Yahya is 4 and baby Ziyad is 1 year old.
Q: Why are you Homeschooling him?
A: In general, I am not satisfied with the quality of education in schools. But also, our local school's system (we have only one or two international schools in our city) is not satisfactory. We are aiming to homeschool till 6 years of age for now.

Just stumped upon your channel today and im so glad i found it. Lots of very useful information and your soft spokenness is an inspiration . So glad you got the beaconhouse curriculum. I personally think it is one of the best . The quarantine convinced me I should homeschool my kids and tried to interact with the homeschooling community in my city. @Tahmina Rafiq really depend on what and how the content is being taught at the school. Usually they way our course is enforced on kids. Best is age 5.
Very nice. Mam my English teacher in 10th standard could not teach English well he always used to translate lessons in punjabi to guide us. This is the educational standard in our country!!!!!.

Hey Sara I found your videos recently n binge watching all your videos 😂 i have a question about Singapore math what is your opinion on Singapore being very rigorous as I liked the program but I am hesitant to start this for kindergarten n I am leaning towards more relaxed sort of programs. What do you think is it worth it to try for my young kindergartner?
I feel bacchay ko agar madde nazar rakha jaey toh Singapore is best and not at all rigorous for them. I'm a fan! So won't say a word. But yes, parent ko effort karni parti es mey in prepping the material. So, what I've done is, I've given this task to my husband. The good thing is that clear instructions are given in their Teacher's guide. Your partner just have to atleast give 4 hours a week on the subject!
I honestly stumbled upon this video with no intention but im surprised the kindergarten course is the exact same as it was 8 years ago except the pamphlets very surprising it hasn't changed alot..

My relatives were visiting from Canada. So I got it through them :) It's best if you could find someone to get it for you. Do you mean the Math text book Beacon House? Yeah, that came along with the whole Kg set I bought. It's not a teachers guide. More like what concepts are covered unki description ha. Not a Teacher's guide. Eski Teacher guide bhi (I saw online) but Beacon doesn't sell that in the set. Probably available just for Teachers at the school.

Hey. From which year can you buy Singapore curriculum? Is it for older kids or you can buy from primary school?
They've got it from the earliest age. I am teaching the K series. Which is Kindergarten.
They also have Pre-K which is before Kidnergarten. Check out the link below. All the books label. PK are Pre-K :) PKA, PKB

But i decided to homeschool him.And he knows fruits, vegetables, body parts, colors, shapes, some islamic duas, tracing and coloring. Tracing and coloring is not perfectly done by him. Now i am

Well, I would suggest to personally have a look at both Nursery and PreNursery courses of Beacon House. The shopkeepers won't mind IA And then decide if Pre-Nursery is too easy for him. Maybe then go for Nursery :)

I actually bought Sinagpore Dimnesions in the same period and I have it's guide as well. So we try to focus on that one first and when we are ready then we will start Rising Stars. As yahya just turned 5 I feel I should focus on some other basics before starting with Rising Stars. Hope I make sense! :D I'm in a hurry

Admission fee 23000Rs.
Security is 23000Rs.
Monthly fee is from 18000 to 23000Rs.

Ws! Read up from different resources. My favourite curriculums to equip oneself with a deep understanding of subjects are
"Logic of English" for English
"Kifayat Publishers" for Pre Primary level
"Singapore Dimensions" for Math
"Right Start Mathematics" for Math
Also, look into Blossom and Roots for Nursery Prep Level.

Hey! This one particularly (Singaporean Dimensions) we get from family or friends living abroad.
Others like Logic of English, Blossom and Roots etc. Can be bought online. They are available in e -form.

Yes, spoken language p mastery ho toh parhnay likhnay mey it helps! So, make sure one parent speaks in English and one parent speaks in Urdu. Complete division!

Yes Ofcourse! Check with the book seller about the grade before Kindergarten. Best is to take your time in the shop and have a thorough look at the books then decide which grade is best for your child :)

I will try my best to share a routine/schedule video. Try to think of something your child is interested in these days. Maybe then make an activity out of that? Like Yahya is currently obssessed with fans. I have to teach him one more/one less concept. Which is a little boring to him. So I am thinking to teach him with making a picture of fan. Then erasing one blade or adding one more to teach him
