Q: Where are you from?
A: I was born in Pakistan but then moved to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia . Have been raised and lived there all my pre-married life.
Q:Why do you mention Sweden in your videos?
A: I moved to Sweden after marriage. Lived there for 7 years, then moved back to Saudi Arabia in 2018. And now, we are back in Pakistan since 2020 to serve and play our part in the betterment of our country.
Q: What is your education?
A: I have done a four year honours program in Information Technology and Computing. Also, a diploma in Early Years Education.
Q: Who’s in your family?
A: We are a family of four. Me, Naveed (Husband) and two boys (Yahya 7, and Ziyad 4)
Q: Why are you Homeschooling your kids?
A: In general, I am not satisfied with the quality of education in schools. But also, our local school's system is not satisfactory. We aim to homeschool our kids atleast till the age of 6.

Age for playgrp
Can say that at large toddlers between the ages of 1.5 - 3.5 years of age are Playgroup ready. Anything under 1.5 years, and you will be starting them too early.
That being said, the parameters universally defined as "ideal", for gauging the perfect Playgroup age are no where close to perfect.
No humans are alike, I started Kifayat's Palygroup Workbooks with my younger one when he turned 4 😄

For Reading, Keep teaching the skills required for reading. The phonetic rules, sentence formation, and whatnot! And invest in story books. Used, new, borrowed... whatever you can find!
Screen time should be limited...period! 40min-1hr is enough in a day! But for some reason, you can't limit it, then spend the rest of the time with the kids doing house Chores, reading books, playing silly games etc. etc.

I would recommend to start early at home. And age ka bohat khayal rakhay. Beacon ka Kindegarten Course I've seen and I don't think if not taught properly it is not suitable for a 5 year old. 6 year old might able to get 70% of the concepts but it's not fair to teach those books to a 5 year old.
So, ages ka andaza app es hisab sy laga lein!
Focus on Reading skills in English. Get the right curriculum to teach it in a proper way. Lots of info available on my channel and others as well.
Work on Mental Math skills in Mathematics. Start small and build from that :)

Listen to your heart! If you have seen my Yahya and how much I have trained him. And he knows more than children his age, but I still preferred him to be in one class behind. Basically, he was 6 years old when he was in Prep 😃
Our School, and our people's views regarding schools are outdated and un sy behes mey trust me, they will win 😃 So, just relax and do what you think is best for your child. Break the norms and be different! If school has no problem, then keep him in k.g.
