I've started to develop hate for the things i once loved, and gaming is so oversaturated with micro transactions everywhere, most players rather insult you than ask to play together or for rematches and the one thing that i really hate about the internet in 2023 and still going on into 2024, watching my parents watch tiktoks and seeing there attention span drop slowly.

When I was 13, I honestly started hating other kids my age, at least online. This was 2017, and I was so annoyed by all the trends kids would do at that point, like water bottle flipping or fidget spinners or never shutting up about Undertale. (Though this may have been fueled by older TH-camrs telling me that everything kids like is "cringey"). I never followed anything that was popular, so I was more or less disconnected from the rest of Gen Z, which applies ten fold today.
Little did I know just how bad things would get in just a few years. Part of me is annoyed at my younger self for thinking I was better than everyone else for not being trendy, but the other part of me is extremely grateful that I didn't feel the need to follow every trend that came my way.
Holy shit literally me, grew up filled with hate due to the internet, and definitely mellowed out a bit the last year or so

About the makeup thing... Im a gen Z woman and i wear makeup sometimes. I feel like makeup boosts my personal confidence a lot but that is because I do a style that is personal to me and not some trendy makeup style on the internet. Right now, influencers are into the serumed-up "natural" look, and gen alpha girls are wanting more expensive makeup and skincare. I like a good medium between matte full glam and dewey glossy. It REALLY depends on ur style.
