My 2001 s430 is experiencing ruff idle . I was replacing the hose there and it broke off . I refused to take the intake off but it was a no go . I’ll have to take it off today . And finish the job . Poor car has been sitting for about a month because of the bad weather in Nashville . But this video motivated me . Our I go

I used an air compressor pinch hose fitting with an 1/8” pinch. Then added a hose connection , put a 1/8” rubber washer. This pinches onto the vacuum tube in the intake, making it air tight, sell the washer seals at the exit hole by way of the pressure of the mounting screws and gives the ability to replace the hose in the future without removing the intake.
I would add a picture but not sure how.

Just the video I was looking for . My vacuum line broke just like yours long before I took apart my intake manifold I can just tell by the look of it , what were your symptoms with the broken hose ? I never noticed anything but I’m sure I will when it goes back together fixed & clean , I scrubbed everything clean with diesel fuel & then soda blasted it down to bare aluminum again so I can get better sealant adhesion. I will have a video on my channel soon when I’m done !

It was a lean code with a small hissing noise from under the intake. It did run much better when it was all done

    Good Day to every one
I am just curious to know what kind of motor oil has been used in this automobile and also what brand name of gasoline.
If is that possible how many miles or Km has this engine.
Would like to thanks Mr Lambson Auto for the video

@@abeodez751 highly unlikely that many misfires on that many cylinders at the same time. I had similar issues o2s Cls500 M113 of course. Turn out MAF wasnt clipping down tight. I fixed and scanned again and got a ("this vehicle has no codes.")🙃🙂 All this was after spark plug and wires and a new coil pack pulling and testing the o2s! All was checking out good. I pulled my hair out until my eyes hit that little tiny chrome clip. I wiggle the MAF and it was moving quite a bit! That was my Eureka moment! Lol! She runs like a beast now!🤪
