    I was dreading setting up the green screen on OBS. I initially made a mistake by buying a Logitech Webcam and then discovered how good my old and unused IPhone 8 Plus was as a Webcam. I then got the Camo app and installed it on the old IPhone and my Desktop. What a enormous difference in quality! I watched your first video and found it a little complicated. Fortunately, I discovered your latest video which was so much easier to follow. The results are outstanding!!! I am still tweaking the lighting. I found that a small LED light illuminating my face and chin from beneath is very helpful in removing unwanted shadows. Thank you so much!!!

    The adjustment to the background through the color that is used is what made me hit that like button.

    The original version of this video was very helpful when I was setting up my green screen a few months ago!
    A tip I wanted to share if you're really struggling with the screen not being evenly lit, and it's hard to get the dark lower corners keyed out, is that you can add multiple chroma keys to the same camera. I'm using your colour-correction trick (as per the older video), but I also have two chroma keys, both using screen colour picking. One does most of the work and the second just works on the lower dark corners.

      50 shades of green lol

    • @DeterminedGoat
      @DeterminedGoat 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's genius
      Edit: totally works and makes lighting so much easier, just have your camera and light settings as close to perfect as you can before you key, and then play around with exactly which shades of green you're keying

    I've been using your original video as guidance for a while now which was pretty good, but this guide is a whole lot better. The colour picker for the green screen is the main difference - despite my green screen being chroma key the Logitech C920 makes it look pale green 😃 Keep up the good work!

    5:56 FYI, you can tighten the pivots on the rode PSA1 boom arm! There is a flat blade screw on the right hand side of the 4 pivot points to tighten it up which will add some friction in the joints if your mic is a bit light. Also if you do need to add some weight, don't tape around both boom arms as they are a parallelogram, instead, velcro a weight around only the bottom element.

    Amazing work mate! Thanks for sharing! Do you happen to have any suggestions on using OBS Studio together with MS Powerpoint for presenting i.e. using Green Screen on the Powerpoint for more advanced and engaging presentations? Also, might be a good idea to try multiple camera angles to liven up the presentation perhaps using OBS?

    Did you light up your green screen?
    What did you use? I've been having a lot of problems with my chroma key.
    The image of my elgato green screen is very noisy and sparkling.
    Regarding my lights I use a Key Light and a Key Light Air both from Elgato.
    I have some shadows but nothing special.
    I don't know what to do because i can't put my green screen further away because then the area becomes very small as it is not very wide.
