So on a number of occasions I've driven past the Windhover and a loco move was in progress but I've never had the opportunity to see how it was actually done so my sincere thanks for posting this.
Hi purple x Ryan x co 😊thanks Ryan👍never gets tiring watching trains being loaded or unloaded from a low loader😊thats scary hearing that creaking from the ramps😱BTW can't attend show as of to Kessingland beach 🌞😎 probably no WiFi so will catch up on vids next weekend ☺️
The creaking is from the loco centralising. The red pre fab ramp doesnt have true profiled rail so the loco sometimes sits more to one side as it's unloaded. As it joins are 'loose' rail it re centers as this is true profiled rail. Same creaks you'd expect to hear on curves etc from the wheel profile doing it's job. Hope this helps.
I have a friend who used to work at the signal box at the bottom of a bank on the Woodhead and he says a train is anything that has a denoting marker on the rear to say that the service be it 1 loco or a fully laden 40 wagon iron ore working or anything in between
'I dont just want a Brush 2, i want a fleet of them'.
😆 😂 brilliant ain't it. Dave is that proper legend

its not a train on its own its a locomotive only a train when its got coaches or goods cars on simple
