That's actually the only thing that has fueled most bands... Every band that gets on good terms is tamed down... It's tension that creates the drive to do better. Challenges... Fistfights even... You make up and go play some music.

I once did a Q and A with him on a Fleetwood Mac message board with other fans, and I praised him for his iconic bass work and style and he was so humble, sighting so many others as being superior to him. Honestly, few can keep a groove like McVie can and the chemistry between him and Fleetwood as a rythym section is perfection.
One of the deluxe reissues of “Rumours” contains a lot of demos and early versions of the songs, and in a few occasions you can hear a McVie bass part that ended up being used as a vocal line. He wrote hooks, for sure.

The tension is palpable through the pixels. I have always loved the sustain on Lindsey's guitar. He plays with a wild musicality which never goes over the top, but creates tremendous excitement!

Amazing performance. My absolute favorite thing in this song is the melodic baseline under the chorus and the way lead guitar comes to meet it as the song rises to its peak. This has got to be one of the few PERFECT songs ever written.
God what a voice! One of the absolute best. He blew me out of the water when I saw him live at the Majestic theater in Detroit. I thought seeing him solo would be him and a small band. Nope! He performed with a 15 piece band. Incredible show, incredible voice. His heart was bleeding out of his mouth he was so damn good.

I was 21 and Rumours came out. It was the much more successful follow up to Fleetwood Mac and hung around for 2 years, smashing all kind of records. This song will always define Rumours for me, as it came out before the album, igniting a 42 year love affair with Go Your Own Way. So glad I was around for it.
I saw this tour in Austin…Lindsey blew the rest of the band away for the entirety of the show! All of the looks at him by the rest are simply them asking themselves “what the hell would we be without this guy”…they find out in 2020…a cover band! Lol
Lindsey should have no doubts about how much his fans respect and adore him. 80% of all comments on their videos are praising Buckingham for his talent, and for who is is as a person.

Amazing performance. My absolute favorite thing in this song is the melodic baseline under the chorus and the way lead guitar comes to meet it as the song rises to its peak. This has got to be one of the few PERFECT songs ever written.

This song will always define Rumours for me, as it came out before the album, igniting a 42 year love affair with Go Your Own Way. So glad I was around for it.
