Currently working on an issues and debates series. If I have time before Paper 2 I'll try to do some RM videos. Are there any parts of RM that you want help with?
Yes, I have the same question. Also, for A level exams do we get only sign test to solve in exams or we have to prepare all the tests (wilcoxon, chi squared etc.)? Thank you :)
Yep - you will only be asked to calculate the sign test in an exam. For all the other statistical tests you need to know reasons why you would use them, and how to find/interpret critical values (how you know if the results are significant or not).
Hi sir I was wondering how much should worry and plan for a 'discuss the contribution of' an approach essay question in paper 2, my teacher has told us it could come up but hasn't given us any guidance on how to approach the question so what is your advice?
This was a good question - it really separates out students who just write a generic essay and a student who carefully answers the question. So for an essay question that asks you to discuss the 'contribution' of the Behaviourist Approach you might write about: - Scientific credibility - they helped give psychology scientific credibility; they advanced the study of human behaviour beyond Wilhelm Wundt, and at the time away from the highly subjective work of Freud. - Practical application - they've contributed greatly to helping people - Classical conditioning in treating phobias (systematic desensitisation), Operant conditioning with token economies However, you could question their contribution in the following ways: - research methods: animal research lacks generalisability - environmentally deterministic - nurture: ignores role of nature in human behaviour (therefore a limited explanation) Hope that helps a little.
Sir i am stilll abit confused about active recall even though i have watched ur previous video?? Could you please help me? Also psychology has way too much content how do i know which topics to priorities??? Btw great video as always

Oh so pleased you’ve been enjoying the videos! Thanks for the suggestion 😊 Got some plans for videos in relation to revision that I hope you’ll find helpful.
Which STEP did you most relate to? What other mistakes do you think students should watch out for? COMMENT BELOW: 👇
