the new vocals arent bad at all but compared to the old just sound a bit weird with a few of the chromatics. but yeah the new vocals are actually kinda cool. if they retook them and patched out those chromatics i say it would be good
this version of prey is good. the VA did a good job. but i feel like it can be improved majorly in 2 areas. some of the vocals sound... scratchy? but other then that the vocals are really good. my other thing i feel like can be improved is the charting for the song itself. with the jack notes from the original prey mostly is what im talking about. those jack notes helped the song majorly imo and made it feel pretty satisfying in areas and with the new more stair like smooth notes it just doesnt do as good in my opinion. but yeah the vocals could use a guick change to patch out those bumps and if the charting was more like the original i would like it even more. but its still really good nontheless

Heres a reason why I hate these vocals. They're so scratchy that when I was listening to someone play it, it fucking hurt my ears that shit is just disgusting with spectation. Atleast the old ones were soft and actually listenable these ones feel like sonic's vocals are being interrupted with a broken mic. I'm not being all "The old ones came first" shit these vocals generally are scratchy and annoying to listen to.
