    Thank you for leaving us this little gem! :) I like it a lot, and yes, the devil is in the details and things like the final delay are great additions to finish making the experience even better for the audience (and the trick harder to discover!). Have a lovely weekend and thanks again! ^__^

    Thanks for showing us this simple but effective card trick As always if you can master card sleights/forces/false shuffles, then you are always going to have the ability to astound your audience. I believe that a few simple card sleights can greatly increase your repertoire. You aren't limited to just self working no sleight tricks. Where apparently you go wrong and then hand the cards over to your spectator to redo the trick is a nice finish to the trick. Thanks for sharing. Again you have shown me a trick that i haven't done but will do from now on wards.

    • @4suits
      @4suits  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for your comment and support as always my friend! 🙏🙏 Yes, I agree, you can come a very long way with just some very simple sleights and false shuffles. In fact, I think it has been said that all you need for great card magic is a control, a force , a color change and a palm. I might have missed something but the point is you can come a very long way with some relatively easy sleights if you master them fully 😀👍

      @@4suits also you can do that you forgot to do the magic mood( like pass hands over it or snanps finger or anything you came up with it) and then you do the second count your self.

    I had had (decades ago) watched on a "Penn & Teller Show" the trick of "reversing the order" of the cards... If that helps to find whoe to reference it to (Part of it)
    I am just ashaimed to not clearly remember which show it was on... I have watched so many of them and it has been so long ago!
    To maybe help anyone reading; fill in on it:
    In their version; they had put a deck that of which they knew the top card of on the table and then showed the volunteer from the audience to state any number from one to ten (Again, so it doesn't take all day). And then presented them an example of what they have to do:
    "Put the cards one by one on top of each other like this. And then look at the X (x=the chosen number) card and put it back in the deck and shuffle it thoroughly.
    The Penn & Teller touch to the trick was how they had "mis-guessed" the card and acted ashamed but revealed a T-shirt with "This was your card" and even a news broadcast giving a sudden break and saying "This was your card" and all the typical "over the top" comedic value this duo is so known for (Maybe not everyone's cup of tea: But I sincerely love them).
    In fact, they had even shared a "Record this on tape to play" news broadcast to play for your friends… I think it was a ten of diamonds or something. It has been so long ago ("Videotape" should give you an idea)... Which is also "why" the deck had to be prepared forehand (Or culled to have a specific card on top).
    This was without a doubt of the easiest and creative (But seriously DAMN IMPRESSIVE) impromptu card trick I have had seen til then...
    They had sort of had also made a little nib at "mentalism" style "pre predicted card selection" in their run on it.
    I love your version/take on it... You are very good at delivering both your magic and your explanations to even those very new to the craft... or literally ignorant even. I would like to try to add to your goal in reaching your 5K subscribers...
    The best of luck!

      Edit: I haven't clarified what happens after Penn shows "how to lay out the cards one by one"... those that do not understand; SHOULD watch this video first. Those that have already watched prior to reading this: Will already know why he had had done that and how they had the card forced onto the spectator.
      I would advise people to watch the video first.

    After seeing this, I realised I really need to work on my fake shuffles 😅 Thanks for the excellent explanation as always!
    Sidenote: when "your card" was the 10 of spades instead of the 10 of clubs, I assume it was just a coincidence, that you ended up on the twin card of the 10 of clubs? Because I was trying to understand how you produced the twin.. So in the tutorial part I was expecting a 7 of hearts as "your card (twin card of 7 of diamonds), and then you produced the joker 😆 that confused me for a few seconds hahaha

    • @4suits
      @4suits  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you! 😀🙏 Yeah, some false shuffles are really worth the investment!
      Haha, yeah I realised when I uploaded it that it might cause some confusion 😅 That would be a pretty cool trick though, but also harder than this one.
